AT A TIME WHEN ARAB MUSLIM COUNTRIES ARE SURRENDERING TO THE ZIONIST ISRAELI REGIME AND IT'S OCCUPATION OF PALESTINE. A WIND OF FRESH AIR RESOUNDS FROM BAKU CELEBRATING A JOINT AZERBAIJAN AND TURKISH MILITARY VICTORY. THIS REVEALS THE MAP OF THE FUTURE OF THE UMMAH. ONLY JIHAD BY MUSLIM ARMIES AND MILITARY SELF RELIANCE RATHER THAN DEPENDENCE ON THE UN AND RELATED AGENCIES CAN DELIVER THE RESULTS.

TURKISH MAARIF FOUNDATION EXPLAINED AT THE ACADEMY OF DIPLOMACY OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
https://turkiyemaarif.org/post/7-turkish...93?lang=en
Message From the President of Board Of Trustees
Prof. Dr. Birol AKGÜN
‘OUR AIM IS TO RAISE GOODWILLED
PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD’
In recent years, Turkey has solidified her position in the international arena. Economy has developed and its physical infrastructure has become considerably complete and she gradually realizes her major development projects. At the threshold of the 21st century, the Anatolian culture has revived its rich cultural, historical and civilizational heritage. We passed beyond the artificial walls built between our virtual geography and our country’s territory. Today, the globalization process and the developing opportunitie of communication and transportation oblige the Anatolian people to develop cultural, economic and social relations with the communities around the world. We are also looking forward to the same thing since we not only learned from our journey of thousands of years of migration but also taught the world what we had. We do not hesitate to meet different cultures and learn from them. We will be pleased to share the values that we developed as part of our cultural heritage with others.
After a long sought endeavor of development and western-oriented modernization process, Turkey grew maturer in accessing to universal knowledge and catching up with the contemporary civilizations. Today, she is in a process of rediscovering her own historical and cultural traditions. As a nation with an heritage of a worldwide civilization in her past, we enter the international arena with the consciousness of reuniting the local and universal in the process of the reconstruction of the global system. What makes us unique and distinctive is this assertive stand of ours.
Maarif Foundation was constituted in such a global political atmosphere. As stated in our law of establishment, our mission is to provide formal and informal educational services on the basis of the common values and heritages of humanity; to raise virtuous “good people” who will serve for the hope of peace, justice and development and combine the knowledge and experience of the Turkish community with universal values. We aim at convey the richness of our spiritual geography to any community around the world by means of these schools. Our main objective is to heal the hearts that were broken because of wars, terror and violence and to convey a message that may help rehabilitate the wounded consciousnesses. In this long walk, our guides are Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi who had said “We cultivated nothing but love in this land”, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, Haji Bektash Veli, Yunus Emre and Haji Bayram Veli who had tried to bring people together in goodness and truth based upon knowledge and wisdom. They did not lose heart; they came from Khorasan and changed Anatolian land with their humanitarian values and their warm hearts. Today, it is our duty to convey these values to the communities around the world. The meaning of the word “maarif” is not simply educating, it also includes the meanings of wisdom and culture. It is also our major vision to introduce all the children around the world with Turkey and Anatolian culture, to represent our people and values successfully, to open up the communicational channels between Turkey and the world in order to introduce the Anatolian culture and to help build long-lasting bridges.
Our biggest support in this process is the effort of the Anatolian people and prayers of our society. We consider any person who believes in this mission as a member of the Maarif Foundation family.

A Unique Platform Promoting Africa and Turkey Investments and Trade Relations to “Create Long-Lasting Business Cooperation”

http://turkiyepromotiongroup.com
Turkey and Africa have been demonstrating significant endeavors to pave the way for enhancing cooperation based on mutual benefits. In this context, inclusive growth and sustainable development goals, as central constituents of the Agenda 2063 of the African Union and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations, provide a suitable framework and guidance for the direction the Turkey-Africa partnership needs to further explore.
Meanwhile, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will usher into a new era which presents its own opportunities for Turkey and Africa. AfCFTA is expected to boost intra-African trade and investments significantly, thereby serving as a catalyst for economic growth and development as well as industrialization. The favorable continental trade and investment environment the AfCFTA is expected to create, has the potential to help ever strengthen Turkey-Africa partnership.
Africa and Turkey could well benefit from mutual exchange of expertise in efficiency and productivity in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, Technology, manufacturing, agriculture, transports and logistics.
While establishing direct trade links between Turkey and Africa would benefit from improved partnerships, it is also vital for achieving the potential in these sectors. Logistics should come into play to maintain functioning and effective trade. In this regard, challenges stemming from transportation costs and inadequacy of infrastructure need particular attention. Turkey and Africa therefore clearly need to further bolster their connectivity. Better connectivity between Turkey and Africa through logistics will translate into increased investments and increased value-chain integration that will facilitate the spread of technology.
The importance of agriculture in food and nutrition security, poverty reduction and overall economic growth is also critical, while transforming Africa’s agriculture into a modern and dynamic sector faces major challenges. These include limited investments, technologies, knowledge and infrastructure to link input and output markets across the continent.
Rapid economic and population growth in Africa, particularly in the continent’s growing cities, are posing challenges for the energy sector. In the meantime, falling costs of key renewable technologies are opening up new avenues for innovation and growth.
Against this background, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose an immense global challenge and partnerships are ever more important for ensuring the resilience of the economies. The next level in Turkey-Africa partnership may be achieved thorough exploration of trade, investment, technology and logistics nexus.
In accordance with the decisions taken in the 2nd Session of Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea in November 2014, Turkey and Africa is organizing the Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forums periodically since 2016.
The First Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forum was held in ?stanbul, on 2-3 November 2016. Trade/Economy Ministers from 42 African countries, as well as over 2.000 businessmen and officials attended the Forum. The Second Forum was held on October 10-11, 2018, in Istanbul, with the “Investment on the Sustainable Future Together” main theme. The event was honored by President of the Republic of Turkey and President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Republic of Rwanda President, and 26 Ministers from 43 African countries and over 2,500 business people attended.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic measures, Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forum, “Turkey-Africa: Partners in Resilience” was held online on 8-9 October 2020. The Forum was honored by President of the Republic of Turkey and attended by 15 Trade/Economy Ministers from 26 African countries and senior officials. On the margins of the online edition of the Forum, virtual B2B meetings and attendee interactions were held. With the objective of building upon the outcome of its successful predecessors, the Third Forum will be held on 21-22 October 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Forum will provide an open space for eminent representatives of Public and Private sector actors, from both Turkey and Africa to discuss and—build on their respective experiences—jointly identify a set of recommendations for scaling up private sector engagement and innovative catalytic Public-Private Partnerships for broad-based, sustainable, inclusive growth and development.

Declaration includes 16 articles underlining agenda of meeting and laying out recommendations in many areas
A joint declaration was released Thursday during the third Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forum, an event for enhancing partnership between Turkey and Africa for development and economic integration.
The two-day forum, which covers topics including Turkey-Africa partnership, collaboration in agriculture, pandemic measures, and innovation, is set to conclude in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul on Friday.
The event was attended by representatives of 45 African countries (out of 54 total), as well as private sector representatives, from both Turkey and the continent.
The declaration included 16 articles underlining the agenda of the meeting and laying out recommendations in many areas.
It stated that the forum supports the African Union's Agenda 2063 and the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development for ensuring inclusive growth and sustainable development of the continent.
Praising Turkey's efforts and contributions to promote peace, stability, and infrastructure
development in Africa, the declaration recommended strengthening collective dialogue, consolidating Africa-Turkey friendship, deepening mutual strategic collaboration, and enhancing the mechanism of practical cooperation between the two sides.
"Taking into consideration the remarkable performance shown with its steady growth over the last decade and being a major economic power in its region, Turkey expressed its readiness to share its development experience in different fields in order to broaden and strengthen the cooperation with African (Union) Member States," it underlined.
The forum encouraged the private sector to invest in priority areas such as technology, tourism, agriculture, electricity production, transmission and delivery facilities and services, aviation, maritime, education, health, and net zero carbon emissions.
Touching on establishing regional agro-processing and manufacturing hubs in Africa, the forum said they are important in agricultural manufacturing capacities. Mentioning the start of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in January 2021, the reform said it will pave the way for more opportunities for economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Africa.
"The Forum underlined the important role of Women and Youth in the sustainable development of their countries and expressed its commitment to ensure that women and youth are provided with a conducive environment to enable them taking active part in the commercial and sustainable development spheres of both Africa and Turkey," it stressed.

TURKISH PRESIDENT MARKS OCTOBER 29 REPUBLIC DAY
https://www.aa.com.tr/en/turkey/turkish-...ay/2406079brated on Friday
ISTANBUL
On the eve of Friday, Oct. 29, Republic Day, Turkey’s president sent a congratulatory message to the nation marking the 98th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
“I congratulate our citizens, living at home and abroad, and all our friends, who share our pride on this day, which is one of the golden links of our glorious history, on the occasion of 29 October Republic Day,”
Erdogan said in a video message.
Erdogan also commemorated with gratitude Ghazi (honored veteran) Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the republic, and his gallant brothers in arms, who ensured victory in the Turkish War of Independence, “wishing Allah’s mercy upon our august martyrs who entrusted these lands to us at the cost of their lives.”
Republic Day is a Turkish public holiday commemorating Ataturk’s proclamation of the Republic of Turkey on Oct. 29, 1923.
Saying that Turkey left behind the most serious phase of the coronavirus pandemic by successfully managing it thanks to the strength and capacity of its healthcare infrastructure, Erdogan added:
"Likewise in the economy, we closed out 2020, when the global economy shrank by more than 3%, with a growth rate of 1.8 %. We have not allowed any deficiencies in any matter, from the fight against terror to public security and from investments to our cross-border operations."
During this period, the support Turkey provided to Libya, which faced attacks by putschists, and Azerbaijan, which fought against the occupation in Nagorno-Karabakh, has changed the destiny of all three countries, Erdogan added.
“Also, we have thwarted attempts aimed at excluding our country and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from the hydrocarbon resources in the Eastern Mediterranean,” he added, referring to Turkey and the TRNC’s maritime rights in the region.
