THE LATEST SPEECH BY IMRAN KHAN STATES THAT THE HINDUTVA RACIST AND FASCIST MODI REGIME HAS MADE A BLUNDER BY REVOKING KASHMIR'S AUTONOMY, IMPOSING AN ONGOING CURFEW AND CUTTING IT OFF FROM THE WORLD. PAKISTAN HAS ENSURED THAT THE KASHMIR DISPUTE HAS AND WILL BE INTERNATIONALISED AT THE UN AND WORLD VIA THE WORLD MEDIA. ALSO THIS WILL BE RAISED AT THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY NEXT MONTH WHERE THE UN PROMISE OF HAVING A PLEBISCITE TO LET THE KASHMIRIS DECIDE THEIR OWN FUTURE WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED AS THE WAY FORWARD. THIS WAS THE PROMISE WHICH WAS NEVER PERMITTED. THE UN NEEDS TO DELIVER AND THE EXISTING SUPERPOWERS NEED TO IMPLEMENT THIS RESLUTION. OTHERWISE THE MESSAGE TO THE MUSLIM WORLD WILL BE THAT THIS UN SECURITY COUNCIL IS IRRELEVANT TO THEIR NEEDS AND INDEED UPHOLDS DOUBLE STANDARDS AND ANTI-ISLAMIC POLICIES. WE ARE AT A CROSSROADS AND THE WORLD IS AT A CROSSROADS. EITHER WE UPHOLD UNIVERSAL  JUSTICE FOR ALL OR THE DOOR FOR A GLOBAL JIHAD HAS TO BE ANNOUNCED. THE LAST VESTIGES  OF THE DAJALLIC BRITISH RAJ NEEDS TO BE ERASED BY FORCE AS THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE.  THE UN SHOULD BE GIVEN AN ULTIMATUM TO INTERVENE IN KASHMIR OTHERWISE WE WILL GO IN TO ACHIEVE REGIME CHANGE IN THE NAME OF JIHAD FI SABILLILAH AND HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION AGAINST BRUTAL OPPRESSION AND BARBARIC VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS. IF THIS COMES TO NUCLEAR WAR SO BE IT AS NUCLEAR WEOPONS ARE THERE FOR USAGE IN THESE EXISTENTIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.

ZAID HAMID EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW AGAINST HIGHEST CIVILIAN AWARD TO MODI

INDIA WILL ATTEMPT 'FALSE FLAG OPERATION' TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM OCCUPIED KASHMIR
https://www.dawn.com/news/1501212

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday alerted the international community to a possible "false flag operation" by the Indian leadership to "divert attention from massive human rights violations" in occupied Kashmir.
"I want to warn the international community that the Indian leadership will in all probability attempt a false flag operation to divert attention from its massive human rights violations and the unleashing of a reign of terror in IOJK [Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir]," said the premier via Twitter.

"We are hearing Indian media claims that some terrorists from Afghanistan have entered IOJK for terrorist activities, while others have entered India's southern regions. These claims are predictable to divert attention from India's ethnic cleansing and genocide agenda in IOJK," he added. The prime minister's comments come as Indian premier Narendra Modi visits France ahead of the G-7 summit. According to AP, French President Emmanuel Macron in his meeting with Modi on Thursday pressed for dialogue with Pakistan over the crisis in occupied Kashmir. As part of his three-nation tour, Modi will visit the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain next. In the UAE, Modi will be conferred with the nation's highest honour, the Order of Zayed, according to Hindustan Times. Modi's visit to Bahrain will be the first ever by an Indian prime minister.

Earlier on Wednesday, in an interview with The New York Times, Prime Minister Imran had expressed concern that India might undertake a deceptive “false flag operation” in occupied Kashmir to try to justify military action against Pakistan, adding that Pakistan would be forced to respond. “And then you are looking at two nuclear-armed countries eyeball to eyeball, and anything can happen. My worry is that this can escalate and for two nuclear-armed countries, it should be alarming for the world what we are facing now,” he said in the interview. India stripped Kashmiris of their seven-decade-long special autonomy through a rushed presidential order on August 5. A communications blackout and heavy restrictions on movement imposed by the Indian authorities from the eve of this development entered their 19th day on Thursday.

SHAH GEELANI CALLS UPON PAKISTANI LEADERS AS WELL AS INDIAN OFFICIALS TO STAND AGAINST STATE'S OCCUPATION

Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani has issued a five-point "programme of action" for resistance against the Indian government and called upon the residents of the occupied region of Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police officials deployed in the territory, and the Pakistani people to "resist" New Delhi's "campaign of brutal repression" following the repealing of Article 370

In an open letter to the people of occupied Kashmir — which is dated August 23 but surfaced on Sunday — Geelani detailed and condemned recent events, which includes stripping the occupied territory of its special status and a continued communications blackout and lockdown that has been in place in the region for the past three weeks.

Following are the five points listed by Geelani in his letter:

'Heartfelt appeal' for peaceful protests

Gillani issued a "heartfelt appeal" to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir to "continue to resist [...] the naked Indian brutality with courage". He urged the resistance to organise "peaceful protests and demonstrations" in their areas.

"While doing so, we must remain absolutely disciplined and not give the enemy, who is armed and ready to kill, any excuse whatsoever to hurt our lives and property. It is very important that our demonstrations remain absolutely peaceful so that more and more people are able to join. If the Indian armed forces still attack our gatherings, the entire responsibility for the possible loss of lives and property will be on them, and the world will remain witness to their deeds."

Govt officials, police to protest against their 'humiliation'

Geelani called upon Indian government officials, bureaucrats as well as police officers employed from the occupied region to "realise that even when they are hand-in-hand in the oppression of their own people, the Indian State does not trust them". He urged them to "stand up and protest" against the "humiliation" inflicted upon them by the Indian government. "We have all seen how during the recent events, the Jammu and Kashmir police force was disarmed and the entire command was given to the Indian Army and paramilitaries," Geelani pointed out.
"Even if such a humiliation does not awaken them to stand up and protest, probably nothing will, and then they should mourn their consciousness and faith, and wait for their destiny of total irrelevance like pro-India politicians in Kashmir."

Kashmiris around the world to act as 'ambassadors'

Geelani urged Kashmiris living outside the occupied territory to "participate in the resistance struggle by acting as ambassadors of the Kashmiri people all over the world". "They should use their knowledge of Kashmir’s history and their own lived experiences to highlight the oppression and brutalities of the Indian State. They should also connect with other marginalised and struggling nationalities in other parts of the world and forge solidarities of resistance."

Pakistani leaders to 'come forward'

The Kashmiri leader also called upon the "people of Pakistan and their leaders in particular, and the Muslim ummah in general [to] come forward at this crucial juncture to help the besieged people of Kashmir". "You are an important party to the Kashmir dispute and this is the time for unity and action," he said.  "Today, if you once again get ensconced in so-called pragmatism and fail to act decisively, then neither history will forgive you nor will your coming generations. You must continue to heighten your political and diplomatic initiatives to the highest level and respond to the deceit of the Indian occupation with full strength and determination."

Jammu, Ladakh residents to protect their identity

Geelani said that the "Indians State’s occupation and its machinations" threatens not only the people of occupied Kashmir but also the Dogra community of Jammu, Buddhists community in Ladakh, Muslims of Pir Panjal and Kargil.
"The Indian State not only wants to occupy our land, but it also intends to destroy our collective identity and brotherhood," he warned. "We must not allow their heinous plot to succeed at any cost. We must all together stand with the resistance struggle to secure our lives, property, and our demographic character." "India should know that even if they bring their entire armed forces into our State, even then the people of Jammu and Kashmir will not let go the struggle for their rights and liberation," he added.

The Kashmiri leader said that the government's actions show the "the real deceitful and brutal nature of the Indian State in Kashmir". "The rulers from Delhi are drunk [on] power and arrogance of majoritarianism and they have snatched away all precepts of humanity, ethics, and democracy," he wrote. "The Indian State subjected the people of Kashmir to a war-like situation, exacerbated by a host of official rumours and psychological warfare, even before the announcement of the decision."   Geelani also highlighted the measures taken by the Indian government to block local and international media from covering the situation in occupied Kashmir, saying that the state has "long used elaborate deception to obfuscate Kashmiri people’s narrative of struggle at the international level". "The oppressors might try to hide the reality, but history will not spare anyone. The blank pages will speak loudly," he declared.

"In spite of India’s best efforts, Kashmir issue is being highlighted throughout the world like never before," Geelani added. "The recently concluded United Nations Security Council meeting on Kashmir as well as the international media coverage are its clear examples. In this scenario, we hope that this message reaches you via the international media."

SOMETHING GRAVE HAPPENING IN KASHMIR
https://www.dawn.com/news/1501116/something-grave-happening-in-kashmir-indian-leader

Nine Indian opposition parties fearing that something grave is afoot in India-held Jammu and Kashmir came together in a protest here on Thursday demanding the immediate release of political leaders detained in the restive region. "We must recognise that this is no democracy. If we fail to understand this, then we are living in a fool’s paradise,” former J&K chief minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said.  Something grave is happening in J&K and the government is trying to hide it. The media is not allowed to telecast the truth,” he said at the meeting attended by major opposition parties.

The protest was organised by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam of Tamil Nadu. Law to nullify Article 370 was brought in through the back door, Mr Azad said. Invoking former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said had Vajpayee been in the prime minister’s chair, such a thing would not have happened. Speaking earlier, CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury too invoked Vajpayee. Calling the change in the status of Jammu and Kashmir a direct assault on all pillars of the constitution, he said the government had forgotten the slogan given by Vajpayee, “Kashmiriyat, Jamhuriyat aur Insaniyat”.

The nine parties adopted a resolution demanding “immediate release of all public representatives of mainstream political parties and innocent citizens”. “We also demand the immediate restoration of normalcy and communications so that people can reach out to their loved ones and their family members,” it read.
It was unusual to see Trinamool Congress and the communists on the same platform, which was also shared by Mulayam Yadav’s Samajwadi Party, Farooque Abdullah’s National Conference and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal together with several Tamil parties.

Meanwhile, Indian reports quoted Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei as expressing concern over the situation of Muslims in Kashmir, which has been on the edge since the Narendra Modi government repealed Article 370, which granted special status to the state, and bifurcated it into two union territories — J&K and Ladakh.

Taking to Twitter, Khamenei said: “We’re concerned about Muslims’ situation in #Kashmir. We have good relations with India, but we expect the Indian government to adopt a just policy towards the noble people of Kashmir and prevent the oppression & bullying of Muslims in this region.”  He also blamed the United Kingdom for the “disputes between India &Pakistan”, saying: “The British intentionally left this wound in that region in order to sustain conflicts in Kashmir.”

Genocide Watch issues alerts for occupied Kashmir and India's Assam state

Genocide Watch, a global organisation dedicated to the prevention of genocide, has issued two warning alerts for India — one for the occupied territory of Kashmir and the other for Assam state. According to the website, a 'Genocide Watch' warning is declared by the NGO when there are signs of the early stages of a genocide in progress.  Founded by academic Dr Gregory Stanton in 1999, the organisation exists to predict, prevent, stop, and punish genocide — as defined in the Genocide Convention — and other forms of mass murder.

The most recent genocide alert issued by the organisation was for occupied Kashmir, in which it identified the genocidal process, based on Dr Stanton's 10 Stages of Genocide, to be far advanced:

  1. Classification: Hindu and Sikh Indian army “us” vs Kashmiri Muslim civilian “them”
  2. Symbolisation: Muslims have Muslim names (on ID cards), Kashmiri language, dress, mosques
  3. Discrimination: Hindu pandits were economically dominant until 1990; BJP reasserted Hindu power
  4. Dehumanisation: Muslims are called “terrorists”, “separatists”, “criminals”, “insurgents”
  5. Organisation: 600,000 heavily armed Indian army troops and police dominate occupied Kashmir
  6. Polarisation: Modi and the BJP incite anti-Muslim hatred; social media spread falsehoods
  7. Preparation: The Indian army occupies Kashmir; BJP leaders speak of the “Final Solution” for Kashmir
  8. Persecution: Kashmiri Muslims are locked down, subject to arrest, torture, rape, and murder
  9. Extermination: Since 1990, there have been at least 25 massacres by Indian troops as well as Muslim fighters with death tolls over 25
  10. Denial: Modi and BJP say their goals are to “bring prosperity” and “end terrorism”; they deny any massacres. No Indian Army troops or police are ever tried for torture, rape or murder
