GLOBAL UMMAH SOLIDARITY
#81
IT IS TIME TO FIRE THE OPENING SHOTS OF A NEW GLOBAL POLICY WHICH THE UMMAH NEEDS TO TREAD UPON. LET US BE CLEAR THAT THE PREDICAMENT OF THE MUSLIM WORLD IS CENTRED ON SUBSERVIENCE TO THE NWO ESTABLISHED ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF COLONIAL EMPIRES POST WORLD WAR 2 WHICH WERE REPLACED BY A NEW PRISONPLANET. HOWEVER 1.8 BILLION MUSLIMS CAN NO LONGER ADOPT A POLICY OF COWARDICE AND SURRENDER TO IT'S NONMUSLIM AGGRESSIVE HEGEMONISTIC ENEMIES ENGAGED IN A GLOBAL WAR OF TERROR ON ISLAM AND MUSLIMS. IN TERMS OF NEW LEADERSHIP IT IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL THAT FEAR OF AND SURRENDER TO THE ENEMIES NEEDS TO BE DISCARDED BY THE NEW GENERATION OF MUSLIMS OF WHICH CIRCA 70% ARE UNDER 30 YEARS OF AGE. THE FUTURE IS THERE TO BE SHAPED RATHER THAN BE SWEEPED AWAY BY EVENTS.

THERE ARE TWO DIMENSIONS TO COWARDICE. THE EXTERNAL ONE WHEN FACING AND CONFRONTING THE ENEMY. THE OTHER DIMENSION IS INTERNAL IN WHICH THE MINDSET AND MENTALITY OF MUSLIMS IS COMPROMISED  AND SUBVERTED. WHAT THIS MEANS IS SELLING OUT THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF ISLAM AT THE ALTAR OF MAMMON AND FEAR OF DEATH.. THIS IS NOT JUST HYPOCRISY BUT SPIRITUAL TREACHERY. THIS EXPLAINS THE CONDITION OF THE UMMAH AND CONTEMPORARY MUSLIMS. MUSLIMS NEED TO RE-ESTABLISH THEIR ISLAMIC IDENTITY FULLY AND COMPLETELY. THIS MEANS REJECTION OF RELIGION AS A SET OF DOGMAS AND RITUALS. IT NEEDS TO BE TRANSFORMED INTO ESTABLISHING THE ISLAMIC SHARIAH AND THE MADINA ISLAMIC GOVERNANCE MODEL.  THIS INCLUDES THE SHARIAH LAWS PERTAINING TO PEACE AND WAR IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT. AS WAR HAS BEEN DECLARED BY ENEMIES THE TIME TO RESPOND TO AND ANSWER  AGGRESSION BY THE ENEMIES OF ISLAM HAS ARRIVED. THEIR SATANIC PLOY INCLUDES ALIGNING ISLAM WITH TERRORISM COMMITTED BY THEIR OWN HANDS. THIS IS TO DEMONISE ISLAM AND MUSLIMS AND JUSTIFY ISLAMIC COUNTER TERRORISM AND ISLAMOPHOBIA.

WE SHOULD NOTE THAT WE ARE LIVING AT A TIME WHEN THE OPPRESSION OF MUSLIMS AND ISLAM DOES NOT REGISTER ON GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE NONMUSLIM WORLD BEHAVES LIKE THE DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND. THE TIME TO ANSWER AND RISE AGAINST THIS HAS ARRIVED AS THERE IS NO HIDING FROM THIS FACT AND NO MATTER WHAT THERE CAN BE NO TURNING BACK.

THE PROPHETIC COMMAND OF UPHOLDING JUSTICE AND ENDING OPPRESSION MEANS ARMED RESISTANCE AND JIHAD. PEACE CAN ONLY BE ESTABLISHED IF INJUSTICE AND OPPRESSION IS ELIMINATED. THIS IS THE COMMAND OF THE QURAN AND PROPHETIC MODEL AND EVEN THE UN UPHOLDS THE RIGHT OF SELF DEFENCE AND SELF DETERMINATION.  THE GLOBAL PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN BY NONMUSLIM POWERS PRESERVING THE UNJUST STATUS QUO NEEDS TO BE REJECTED TOTALLY. THEIR NARRATIVE NEEDS TO BE SHREDDED AND FUEL THE BONFIRE.

THE LEGACY OF KHALID BIN WALEED, MUHAMMAD BIN QASIM, TARIQ BIN ZAYED, YUSUF BIN TASHIFEEN, BAYEZIT, NURUDDIN, SALAHUDDIN, SULTAN MEHMET , TIPU SULTAN, IMAM SHAMIL, ILTUTMISH, SHIHAB UD DIN GHAURI  HAS TO BE RESURRECTED. IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THIS LEGACY IS THERE IS A NEED FOR A  CRASH COURSE ON GHAZWAT IN ISLAMIC HISTORY.  MORE DETAILED RESEARCH WILL BE DEVOTED TO THIS. MUSLIMS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO FIGHT FOR THEIR SELF DEFENCE, DIGNITY AND RESPECT. LIVING ETERNALLY FOR ONE DAY IN DEATH AND SACRIFICE THAN CHAINED TO THE OPPRESSION OF NONMUSLIMS.  IN THE CONTEXT OF INDIAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR WITH OVER 100 DAYS OF CLAMPDOWN AND CURFEW IN THE KASHMIR VALLEY PEACE CAN ONLY BE TALKED AFTER THE LAST SINGLE ARMED INDIAN SOLDIER IS FORCED TO DEPART KASHMIR. MODI THE BUTCHER NEEDS TO BE GIVEN 48 HOURS TO LEAVE OCCUPIED KASHMIR AND IF HE DOES NOT THE PAKISTAN ARMY NEEDS TO BE ORDERED TO ENGAGE IN THE NOBLE ETERNALLY BLESSED JIHAD TO LIBERATE AN OPPRESSED MUSLIM PEOPLE SEEKING LIBERATION FROM THE CRUELTY AND OPPRESSION OF AN INVADER SEEKING TO ELIMINATE THEIR IDENTITY. THE AGE OF DAJJAL AND ITS MACHIAVELLIAN POLITICS OF COERCION NEEDS TO BE CHALLENGED BY THE MORALITY OF JIHAD. THERE IS NO OTHER SOLUTION FOR MUSLIMS IN THE CURRENT ERA BUT TO MOBILISE THE UNITED STATES OF ISLAM ARMY. THE LIFE AND DIGNITY OF A MUSLIM COMMITTED TO ALLAH'S SOVEREIGNTY IS MOST PRECIOUS AND OPPRESSIVE NONMUSLIM RULERS NEED TO DESIST OR FACE JIHAD.  LET US BE CLEAR THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR AL BAGHDADI'S ISIS 2.0 WHICH IS A USA-NATO-ISRAELI PROXY. WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT IS THE REAL MCCOY. THIS FORCE IS ABOUT TO MATERIALISE AS THE WORLD IS IN DIRE NEED OF THIS JUST LIKE A SCORCHED DESERT AWAITS THE IMPENDING RAINSTORM TO ERUPT.   HASBUNALLAH AND TAWAKULLAH.

2019 LOOKS AS THOUGH INDIA UNDER MODI HAS MOVED TO BECOME A HINDU RASHTRA- WHAT ARE IT'S IMPLICATIONS AND CONSEQUENCES FOR MINORITIES ESPECIALLY INDIAN MUSLIMS. ALSO IN THIS DAY AND AGE IT IS ALSO RELEVANT FOR MUSLIM NATIONS TO ESTABLISH A POLICY FOR REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS AS MANY OF THESE PEOPLE ARE THE FLOTSAM OF CIRCUMSTANCES INTERNATIONALLY. THIS WILL BE REVIEWED HEREAFTER .

INDIA UNDER MODI IS MOVING SYSTEMATICALLY WITH A SUPREMACIST AGENDA SAYS PM IMRAN
https://www.dawn.com/news/1521876/india-...s-pm-imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been moving systematically with a Hindu supremacist agenda.

The prime minister was referencing the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill
passed by India's upper house amid protests on Wednesday. The bill will let the Indian government grant citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants who entered India from three neighbouring countries before 2015 — but not if they are Muslim. Modi's government — re-elected in May and under pressure over a slowing economy — says Muslims from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan are excluded from the legislation because they do not face discrimination in those countries.

Taking to Twitter, Prime Minister Imran stated that the bill was the latest of Modi's attempts to promulgate his supremacist agenda, "starting with illegal annexation and continuing siege of IOJK [Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir]; then stripping 2 million Indian Muslim in Assam of citizenship, setting up internment camps; now the passage of Citizenship Amendment Law; all this accompanied by mob lynchings of Muslims and other minorities in India".

He warned that bowing down to a "genocidal supremacist agenda", propagated by Nazi Germany, had once before lead to World War II. "Modi's Hindu supremacist agenda, accompanied by threats to Pakistan under a nuclear overhang, will lead to massive bloodshed and far-reaching consequences for the world," he warned. "As in Nazi Germany, in Modi's India dissent has been marginalised and the world must step in before it is too late to counter this Hindu supremacist agenda of Modi's India [that is] threatening bloodshed and war."

The Citizenship Amendment Bill, seeks to grant Indian nationality to Buddhists, Christians,
Hindus, Jains, Parsis and Sikhs who fled Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh "because of religious persecution" before 2015. It does not, however, extend to Rohingya Muslim refugees who fled persecution in Myanmar.

Home Minister Amit Shah said it was not anti-Muslim because it did not affect the existing path to citizenship available to all communities. Amnesty India, however, said the legislation legitimised discrimination on the basis of religion and stood in clear violation of the India's constitution and international human rights law.

INDIA's CITIZENSHIP BILL HAS ONLY ONE AIM: PROTECT NON-MUSLIMS AND HARASS MUSLIMS
https://www.dawn.com/news/1521496/indias...ss-muslims

TUMULT IN INDIA
https://www.dawn.com/news/1523502/tumult-in-india

OVER the past week, Hindutva backed by the brute force of the state has bared its fangs in India. Hundreds have taken to the streets to protest the BJP-led government’s ill-planned moves of passing the Citizenship Amendment Act — which allows only non-Muslim refugees from some of India’s neighbouring states to apply for citizenship — and the introduction of the National Register of Citizens, widely seen as a fig leaf for stripping Indian Muslims of citizenship.

Clearly, there is an Islamophobic agenda behind these diabolical moves by the Modi clique, which is why India’s Muslims as well as conscientious citizens from other communities are protesting. Violence continued on Friday; at least 13 people have been killed in various cities so far, while hundreds have been temporarily detained as the state tries to put a lid on the protests. Curfew has also been enforced in certain areas, while the internet has been shut down in many cities.

While the Sangh Parivar was largely shunned in the post-independence era, because M.K. Gandhi’s assassin was an ideological child of the RSS, in today’s India, the storm troopers of Hindutva control the levers of state. It is no surprise then that ever since coming to power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought to remake India in the image of the Sangh — a Hindu rashtra to be built on the model of a fabled Vedic golden age. In this programme, there is no place for minorities, specifically India’s Muslims, hence the legal efforts to disenfranchise the community. However, though the Sangh ideologues are trying their best to label Indian Muslims as ‘outsiders’, history points to another reality. Islam has existed in the subcontinent for over a millennium, while Muslims have been living in what is now India for centuries. That should remove any lingering doubts about the right of India’s Muslims to citizenship of that country. No bigoted law can be allowed to deprive them of their identity and dispossess them from the land of their ancestors.

As India drops the facade of a secular democracy and champions the politics of hyper-nationalism, the international community needs to speak up. Under the Modi regime, Muslims have been lynched by vigilante mobs on suspicions of consuming or transporting beef and the world has kept silent. Under the BJP dispensation, India-held Kashmir has been under lockdown for months and its people held prisoner, but the world has looked away.

Now, as New Delhi lights the fires of communalism by disenfranchising millions of Muslim citizens, will the international community still keep silent?  Moreover, questions of identity and citizenship are best left to academics to discuss.  If zealots — guided by imagined histories — are put in charge of such sensitive matters, and worse, given the legal powers to decide who is and who is not a citizen, disaster is sure to ensue.

ITS NOW OR NEVER: WHY YOUNG, URBAN INDIAN MUSLIMS PLUNGED INTO THE ANTI-CITIZENSHIP ACT PROTESTS
https://www.dawn.com/news/1523363/its-no...t-protests

Rehan Sheikh had been disturbed by the prospect of a nationwide National Register for Citizens since April when he first heard Indian Home Minister Amit Shah announce plans to bring in the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Addressing a public meeting then, Shah said the legislation would grant citizenship to non-Muslim refugees from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, and then flush out “infiltrators” through the NRC. In the following months, as the NRC was implemented in Assam and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party government became more vocal about a nationwide citizenship register, Sheikh realised how closely it was linked to the passing of the Citizenship Amendment Bill.

Yet, when the Bill was passed by Parliament and became an official Act on December 12, Sheikh was taken by surprise. “It happened so suddenly,” said Sheikh, a 30-year-old investment advisor working with a bank in Mumbai. “I always knew this was going to be a dangerous law, but I did not expect to be passed so quickly after they tabled it in Parliament.”    Since then, like almost every other Muslim he knows, Sheikh has been brimming with feelings of anger, indignation, dread and a sense of urgency. These feelings have intensified after December 15, when the Delhi police unleashed an unprovoked assault on students of Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi, and students around the country began to protest in response.

For young, urban, middle-class Muslims like Sheikh, who had been more invested in their community’s educational and economic development than politics, the Citizenship Amendment Act and the police crackdown on protests have been an eye-opening jolt.   “We have been silent about a lot of things for the sake of peace, including the Supreme Court verdict about the Babri Masjid,” said Sheikh, referring to the court’s decision on November 9 to hand over the disputed land in Ayodhya to the Hindu side. “But now it is a question of our very existence in this country. We have to speak out now.”

‘I cannot believe this is happening’
This “now or never” sentiment was palpable at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on Thursday, when thousands of people across communities turned up to protest the Citizenship Amendment Act. Several protesters had never considered stepping out on the streets to raise slogans before, but now, for the first time, they felt compelled to raise their voices. “My family has never been interested in politics before,” said Alam Khan, a travel agent in his 30s. “My wife did not watch the news even when the Ayodhya verdict came out or when Article 370 was removed [in Jammu and Kashmir].”  “But this time our community is directly being targeted, so many of my family members wanted to protest,” he said.

Khan’s personal desire to be vocal is rooted in both fear for his community and a rising sense of patriotism. “Muslims from my grandparents’ generation were not literate enough to preserve documents. How will people like us show proof of residence in India from the 1950s and 70s?” he said. “I cannot believe this is happening in my country – we cannot let it happen.”     Firdos Farooqui, a medical doctor from South Mumbai, said that the protest at August Kranti Maidan was only the second time she ever felt the need to participate in a public agitation. “I had protested triple talaq last year because it is an un-Islamic practice, and now I am protesting CAA and NRC because they are against India,” she said. “I did not expect that the law would be passed so easily, without much opposition in the Parliament.”    Like Farooqui, Farzana Khan, who had travelled for the protest all the way from the northern suburb of Mira Road, was also rattled by the idea of Indian Muslims being asked to prove their citizenship. “My father was a freedom fighter who won medals for this country,” she said. “What more do I need to prove?”

Wearing religion on one’s sleeve
According to 39-year-old Javed Sayed, it is the support of non-Muslim Indians that helped Muslims across the country to step out in large numbers and protest visibly in public.   “I think Muslims had resigned themselves to a lot of injustice towards the community, so there were hardly any protests against NRC in these last few months,” said Sayed, a graphic designer from Mumbai. “But after CAA [Citizenship Amendment Act] was passed, when so many non-Muslims came out to speak for us and to support the students of Jamia, we found it easier to protest.”

Indian Muslims’ discomfort with public dissent is rooted in a history of bitter experiences with street protests, particularly since the demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992. But some Muslims are now ready to discard the past and take control of their narratives.  Journalist Humaira Ansari, for instance, said that after the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed, she decided to “stop giving a damn” about how other people perceive her political stances.  “Earlier, whenever there were terror attacks and Muslim groups went out of their way to condemn the violence, I always felt uncomfortable about it,” she said. “I always questioned, why should we have to do it? Why should I have to wear my religion on my sleeve?”  Ansari, 33, has had sleepless nights since the Act was passed. “Now I feel it is time for us to embrace our religion, to step out and say yes, I am a Muslim and I have a problem with the way Muslims are mistreated and targeted
in this country.”

AT A TIME WHEN THE ISLAMIC WORLD DEMANDS AND NEEDS A CONCERTED VOICE INDEED NO MORE OR LESS THAN A MUSLIM BLOC WHICH ADVOCATES, DEFENDS AND CHAMPIONS ISLAMIC INTERESTS GLOBALLY. WHY DID IMRAN KHAN HAVE AN EMERGENCY MEETING WITH MBS AND KOWTOW TO HIM AND WITHDRAW FOR THE MALAYSIAN SUMMIT? THE ANSWER IS CLEAR AND WILL BE DISCUSSED SOON. THIS DENTS ANY ISLAMIC WORLD LEADERSHIP THAT PAKISTAN ASPIRES TOWARDS. LEADERSHIP REQUIRES VISION, COURAGE, STRENGTH AND ABIDING BY PRINCIPLES.

HOWEVER,
MUSLIM LEADERS LIKE MAHATHIR, ERDOGAN, ROUHANI AND TAMIMI HAVE COME FORWARD. THERE IS A BELATED REALISATION THAT THE MUSLIM WORLD IS BESET BY A CRISIS WHICH IS UNDERMINING ISLAMIC CIVILISATION AND IDENTIFYING ISLAM AND MUSLIMS WITH FAILURE, TERRORISM, BAD GOVERNANCE AND  UNDERDEVELOPMENT. ALSO THE MUSLIM WORLD IS DEPENDENT ON NONMUSLIMS POLITICALLY, ECONOMICALLY AND MILITARILY AND NEED TO CHART A NEW ROUTE TOWARDS SELF DETERMINATION AND SELF RELIANCE.  THE CURRENT MODEL IS FAILING AND IS A FAILURE AND NEEDS A NEW MODEL. THE MESSAGE OF THE KUALA LUMPUR SUMMIT NEEDS A CAREFUL ANALYSIS HEREAFTER.

INDIAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR FACES A DOUBLE LOCKDOWN  SINCE AUGUST 2019 WITH THE UNILATERAL REVOCATION OF ARTICLE 370 AND 35A ENDING THE REGION'S AUTONOMY AND NOW THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC. NOW THE REST OF US KNOW WHAT IT FEELS BEING UNDER LOCKDOWN. THE VIDEO BELOW ON KASHMIR IS A PANORAMIC OVERVIEW OF THE REGION'S HISTORY IN ENGLISH AND IS USEFUL. APPARENTLY IT WAS ISSUED ON AUGUST 5 2019 WHEN ARTICLE 370 WAS ABROGATED. ALTHOUGH IT IS PRODUCED BY AN INDIAN CHANNEL WITH INDIAN MUSLIM PRODUCTION STAFF THE FINAL EDITORIAL STAMP OF APPROVAL AND CONTROL IS IN NONMUSLIM HINDU HANDS.

ALTHOUGH IT IS BEING POSTED HERE THERE ARE SEVERAL RESERVATIONS. FIRSTLY ANY REFERENCE TO KASHMIRI MUSLIM FREEDOM FIGHTERS AS TERRORISTS HAS TO BE DISMISSED OUT OF HAND AS PROPAGANDA. THE STRUGGLE   IS THAT OF SELF DETERMINATION NOT TERRORISM.  IT IS NOW A STRUGGLE AGAINST AN INDIAN HINDUTVA FASCIST STATE WHICH IS ONLY ONE STEP AWAY FROM GENOCIDE. IN FORMER TIMES IN ISLAMIC HISTORY THAT WOULD BE TRIGGER FOR A GLOBAL JIHAD AGAINST OPPRESSION AND KASHMIR REMAINS THE TRIGGER FOR WAR IN THE REGION.  SO LET US NOT BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH AT WHAT IS AT STAKE HERE.

SECONDLY ANY PAKISTANI OR MUSLIM HISTORY OF KASHMIR CAN NOT AFFORD TO BE
JUST OBSERVATIONAL.  AS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A MAINLY MUSLIM PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN UNDER THE JACKBOOT OF AN OCCUPYING INVADING AND OPPRESSIVE  NONMUSLIM POWER.  THIRDLY THE HISTORICAL OVERVIEW REMAINS SILENT ON EVENTS SINCE AUGUST 2019 WHICH ARE THE WORST VIOLATION OF KASHMIRI HUMAN RIGHTS SINCE 1947.  THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS AND AN ALTERNATIVE PAKISTANI HISTORICAL OVERVIEW IN ENGLISH WILL BE SOURCED FOR  BALANCE.

KASHMIR THE STORY ON THE HISTORY AND TIMELINES OF KASHMIR VALLEY

A TIMES NOW Exclusive, this documentary series gives an insight into the conflict-ridden region, showcasing facts as they are. The purely observational piece of storytelling is an honest attempt to showcase life in the Kashmir valley.

MR. JINNAH: THE MAKING OF PAKISTAN

Ambassador Akbar Ahmed presents the 20th Anniversary Edition re-release of the historical documentary film, "Mr. Jinnah: The Making of Pakistan." The documentary was part of Ambassador Ahmed's 1990s Jinnah Quartet of projects about the founder of Pakistan, which also included "Jinnah," a feature film starring Christopher Lee, an academic book, and a graphic novel. The documentary features unique material and interviews with Jinnah's contemporaries and people close to him, including an unprecedented and rare interview with his daughter, Dina Wadia. This edition of the documentary is accompanied by two specially commissioned introductions by Nafees Akbar Ahmed, the daughter of the creator of the Jinnah Quartet who played young Dina in the feature film "Jinnah," and Frankie Martin, Ibn Khaldun Chair Research Fellow at American University.

AL QUDS DAY RALLY TAKES PLACE IN TEHRAN

IRAN MARKS ANNUAL AL QUDS RALLY ONLINE DUE  TO CORONAVIRUS
https://www.tasnimnews.com/en/news/2020/...irus-video

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran is marking annual Quds Day rally in an online event rather than marching through the streets to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

Rallies to mark Quds Day are held every year in towns and cities across the country and aim to show of support for the Palestinians. But due to an international pandemic this year the Quds Day rally and conference will be held online. Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, head of the Intifada (Uprising) and Quds Center at Iran’s Islamic Propagation Coordination Council, General Ramezan Sharif, said that this year’s Quds Day rallies was going to be commemorated with other methods since the situation is not normal in the wake of the outbreak of COVID-19.

The International Quds Day is an annual event during which demonstrators express their solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposition to the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime of Israel. The day is seen as the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who officially declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day back in 1979.

AYATOLLAH KHAMANEI TO DELIVER SPEECH ON INTERNATIONAL QUDS DAY

https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2020/05/2...i-Quds-Day

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is to deliver a speech on the occasion of International Quds Day.  Ayatollah Khamenei’s speech on Friday will be aired live on local and international radio and television channels. Zionist regime understands nothing but force. The Leader, meanwhile, posted a series of tweets on Wednesday, censuring the Israeli regime for its crimes, including appropriating Palestinian lands, and disregard for international law.

Ayatollah Khamenei also said that only the Palestinian people are the ones rightfully entitled to choose their government through a referendum.  In another post, the Leader added that the Islamic Republic supports any nation or group opposing and fighting Israel.

Every year on International Quds Day, millions of Muslims hold rallies worldwide to reaffirm their call for the liberation of Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories and denounce the Tel Aviv regime’s acts of aggression against the Palestinian people. However, this year, street demonstrations have been canceled in Iran due to the coronavirus pandemic and replaced by online events.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said last week that the country will hold Quds Day events in compliance with protocols set to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. He said Quds Day will take place without its usual annual rallies and will instead be held within the perimeters of Friday prayers, which coincide with Quds Day. The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, designated the last Friday of the holy fasting month of Ramadan as Quds Day to mark solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The event, which is marked worldwide, is viewed as an opportunity for all freedom-seeking nations of the world to express their outrage at the Israeli regime for its decades-long occupation of Palestinian territories.

This year’s Quds Day is highly significant amid pro-Israel policies adopted by President Donald Trump’s administration.  In December 2017, Trump officially declared the disputed city of Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel's capital, despite warnings from around the world that the measure risks triggering a fresh wave of violence in the Middle East. In January, Trump alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also unveiled the so-called deal of the century without the presence of Palestinians.

The scheme calls for the creation of a Palestinian state with limited control over its own security and borders. It also bars Palestinian refugees from returning to their homeland, enshrines Jerusalem al-Quds as “Israel’s undivided capital” and allows the regime to annex settlements and the Jordan Valley.

Resistance front leaders to deliver speech to mark Quds Day
The Quds Day Commemoration Committee in cooperation with the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union (IRTVU) is scheduled to hold a virtual speech ceremony for the leaders of the Palestinian resistance front and various personalities on Wednesday.

The speakers are as follows:
  • Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah
  • Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Hamas resistance movement
  • Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, leader of Yemen's Houthi Ansarullah movement
  • Ziyad al-Nakhalah, leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement
  • Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, Bahrain's most prominent Shia cleric
  • Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, leader of Iraq's Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement
  • Atallah Hanna, the archbishop of Greek Orthodox Church of Jerusalem al-Quds
  • Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Latif al-Hamim, head of the Sunni Endowment of Iraq

The speech ceremony is to commence at 17:00 local time in the cities of Jerusalem al-Quds, Baghdad, Sana’a and Beirut. It starts at 18:30 local time in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

WHO PROFITS FROM THE BEIRUT BLAST ?
Making the case that the explosion resulted from an attack

https://www.globalresearch.ca/who-profits-beirut-blast/5720678?utm_campaign=magnet&utm_source=article_page&utm_medium=related_articles

The narrative that the Beirut explosion was an exclusive consequence of negligence and corruption by the current Lebanese government is now set in stone, at least in the Atlanticist sphere. And yet, digging deeper, we find that negligence and corruption may have been fully exploited, via sabotage, to engineer it.  Lebanon is prime John Le Carré territory. A multinational den of spies of all shades – House of Saud agents, Zionist operatives, “moderate rebel” weaponizers, Hezbollah intellectuals, debauched Arab “royalty,” self-glorified smugglers – in a context of full spectrum economic disaster afflicting a member of the Axis of Resistance, a perennial target of Israel alongside Syria and Iran.

As if this were not volcanic enough, into the tragedy stepped President Trump to muddy the – already contaminated – Eastern Mediterranean waters. Briefed by “our great generals,” Trump on Tuesday said: “According to them – they would know better than I would – but they seem to think it was an attack.”    Trump added, “it was a bomb of some kind.”   Was this incandescent remark letting the cat out of the bag by revealing classified information? Or was the President launching another non sequitur?    Trump eventually walked his comments back after the Pentagon declined to confirm his claim about what the “generals” had said and his defense secretary, Mark Esper, supported the accident explanation for the blast.  It’s yet another graphic illustration of the war engulfing the Beltway. Trump: attack. Pentagon: accident. “I don’t think anybody can say right now,” Trump said on Wednesday. “I’ve heard it both ways.”

Still, it’s worth noting a report by Iran’s Mehr News Agency that four US Navy reconnaissance planes were spotted near Beirut at the time of the blasts. Is US intel aware of what really happened all along the spectrum of possibilities?

That ammonium nitrate

Security at Beirut’s port – the nation’s prime economic hub – would have to be considered a top priority. But to adapt a line from Roman Polanski’s Chinatown: “Forget it, Jake. It’s Beirut.”     Those by now iconic 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate arrived in Beirut in September 2013 on board the Rhosus, a ship under Moldovan flag sailing from Batumi in Georgia to Mozambique. Rhosus ended up being impounded by Beirut’s Port State Control.    Subsequently the ship was de facto abandoned by its owner, shady businessman Igor Grechushkin, born in Russia and a resident of Cyprus, who suspiciously “lost interest” in his relatively precious cargo, not even trying to sell it, dumping style, to pay off his debts.

Grechushkin never paid his crew, who barely survived for several months before being repatriated on humanitarian grounds. The Cypriot government confirmed there was no request to Interpol from Lebanon to arrest him. The whole op feels like a cover – with the real recipients of the ammonium nitrate possibly being “moderate rebels” in Syria who use it to make IEDs and equip suicide trucks, such as the one that demolished the Al Kindi hospital in Aleppo.  The 2,750 tons – packed in 1-ton bags labeled “Nitroprill HD” – were transferred to the Hangar 12 warehouse by the quayside. What followed was an astonishing case of serial negligence.

From 2014 to 2017 letters from customs officials – a series of them – as well as proposed options to get rid of the dangerous cargo, exporting it or otherwise selling it, were simply ignored. Every time they tried to get a legal decision to dispose of the cargo, they got no answer from the Lebanese judiciary.  When Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab now proclaims, “Those responsible will pay the price,” context is absolutely essential.

Neither the prime minister nor the president nor any of the cabinet ministers knew that the ammonium nitrate was stored in Hangar 12, former Iranian diplomat Amir Mousavi, the director of the Center for Strategic Studies and International Relations in Tehran, confirms. We’re talking about a massive IED, placed mid-city.  The bureaucracy at Beirut’s port and the mafias who are actually in charge are closely linked to, among others, the al-Mostaqbal faction, which is led by former Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri, himself fully backed by the House of Saud.

The immensely corrupt Hariri was removed from power in October 2019 amid serious protests. His cronies “disappeared” at least $20 billion from Lebanon’s treasury – which seriously aggravated the nation’s currency crisis.  No wonder the current government – where we have Prime Minister Diab backed by Hezbollah – had not been informed about the ammonium nitrate.   Ammonium nitrate is quite stable, making it one of the safest explosives used in mining. Fire normally won’t set it off. It becomes highly explosive only if contaminated – for instance by oil – or heated to a point where it undergoes chemical changes that produce a sort of impermeable cocoon around it in which oxygen can build up to a dangerous level where an ignition can cause an explosion.

Why, after sleeping in Hangar 12 for seven years, did this pile suddenly feel an itch to explode?

So far, the prime straight to the point explanation, by Middle East expert Elijah Magnier, points to the tragedy being “sparked” – literally – by a clueless blacksmith with a blowtorch operating quite close to the unsecured ammonium nitrate. Unsecured due, once again, to negligence and corruption – or as part of an intentional “mistake” anticipating the possibility of a future blast.  This scenario, though, does not explain the initial “fireworks” explosion. And certainly does not explain what no one – at least in the West – is talking about: the deliberate fires set to an Iranian market in Ajam in the UAE, and also to a series of food/agricultural warehouses in Najaf, Iraq, immediately after the Beirut tragedy.

Follow the money

Lebanon – boasting assets and real estate worth trillions of dollars – is a juicy peach for global finance vultures. To grab these assets at rock bottom prices, in the middle of the New Great Depression, is simply irresistible. In parallel, the IMF vulture would embark on full shakedown mode and finally “forgive” some of Beirut’s debts as long as a harsh variation of “structural adjustment” is imposed.  Who profits, in this case, are the geopolitical and geoeconomic interests of US, Saudi Arabia and France. It’s no accident that President Macron, a dutiful Rothschild servant, arrived in Beirut Thursday to pledge Paris neocolonial “support” and all but impose, like a Viceroy, a comprehensive set of “reforms”. A Monty Python-infused dialogue, complete with heavy French accent, might have followed along these lines: “We want to buy your port.” “It’s not for sale.” “Oh, what a pity, an accident just happened.”

Already a month ago the IMF was “warning” that “implosion” in Lebanon was “accelerating.” Prime Minister Diab had to accept the proverbial “offer you can’t refuse” and thus “unlock billions of dollars in donor funds.” Or else. The non-stop run on the Lebanese currency, for over a year now, was just a – relatively polite – warning.

This is happening amid a massive global asset grab characterized in the larger context by American GDP down by almost 40%, arrays of bankruptcies, a handful of billionaires amassing unbelievable profits and too-big-to-fail megabanks duly bailed out with a tsunami of free money.

Dag Detter, a Swedish financier, and Nasser Saidi, a former Lebanese minister and central bank vice governor, suggest that the nation’s assets be placed in a national wealth fund. Juicy assets include Electricité du Liban (EDL), water utilities, airports, the MEA airline , telecom company OGERO, the Casino du Liban.

EDL, for instance, is responsible for 30% of Beirut’s budget deficit.  That’s not nearly enough for the IMF and Western mega banks. They want to gobble up the whole thing, plus a lot of real estate.  “The economic value of public real estate can be worth at least as much as GDP and often several times the value of the operational part of any portfolio,” say Detter and Saidi.

Who’s feeling the shockwaves?

Once again, Israel is the proverbial elephant in a room now widely depicted by Western corporate media as “Lebanon’s Chernobyl.”

A scenario like the Beirut catastrophe has been linked to Israeli plans since February 2016.  Israel did admit that Hangar 12 was not a Hezbollah weapons storage unit. Yet, crucially, on the same day of the Beirut blast, and following a series of suspicious explosions in Iran and high tension in the Syria-Israeli border, Prime Minister Netanyahu tweeted , in the present tense: “We hit a cell and now we hit the dispatchers. We will do what is necessary in order to defend ourselves. I suggest to all of them, including Hezbollah, to consider this.”

That ties in with the intent, openly proclaimed late last week, to bomb Lebanese infrastructure if Hezbollah harms Israeli Defense Forces soldiers or Israeli civilians.  headline – “Beirut Blast Shockwaves Will Be Felt by Hezbollah for a Long Time” – confirms that the only thing that matters for Tel Aviv is to profit from the tragedy to demonize Hezbollah, and by association, Iran. That ties in with the US Congress “Countering Hezbollah in Lebanon’s Military Act of 2019” {S.1886}, which all but orders Beirut to expel Hezbollah from Lebanon.

And yet Israel has been strangely subdued.

Muddying the waters even more, Saudi intel – which has access to Mossad, and demonizes Hezbollah way more than Israel – steps in. All the intel ops I talked to refuse to go on the record, considering the extreme sensitivity of the subject.  Still, it must be stressed that a Saudi intel source whose stock in trade is frequent information exchanges with the Mossad, asserts that the original target was Hezbollah missiles stored in Beirut’s port. His story is that Prime Minister Netanyahu was about to take credit for the strike – following up on his tweet. But then the Mossad realized the op had turned horribly wrong and metastasized into a major catastrophe.

The problem starts with the fact this was not a Hezbollah weapons depot – as even Israel admitted. When weapons depots are blown up, there’s a primary explosion followed by several smaller explosions, something that could last for days. That’s not what happened in Beirut. The initial explosion was followed by a massive second blast – almost certainly a major chemical explosion – and then there was silence.  Thierry Meyssan, very close to Syrian intel, advances the possibility that the “attack” was carried out with an unknown weapon, a missile -– and not a nuclear bomb – tested in Syria in January 2020. (The test is shown in an attached video.) Neither Syria nor Iran ever made a reference to this unknown weapon, and I got no confirmation about its existence.  Assuming Beirut port was hit by an “unknown weapon,” President Trump may have told the truth: It was an “attack”. And that would explain why Netanyahu, contemplating the devastation in Beirut, decided that Israel would need to maintain a very low profile.

Watch that camel in motion

The Beirut explosion at first sight might be seen as a deadly blow against the Belt and Road Initiative, considering that China regards the connectivity between Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon as the cornerstone of the Southwest Asia Belt and Road corridor.  Yet that may backfire – badly. China and Iran are already positioning themselves as the go-to investors post-blast, in sharp contrast with the IMF hit men, and as advised by Hezbollah Secretary-General Nasrallah only a few weeks ago.

Syria and Iran are in the forefront of providing aid to Lebanon. Tehran is sending an emergency hospital, food packages, medicine and medical equipment. Syria opened its borders with Lebanon, dispatched medical teams and is receiving patients from Beirut’s hospitals. It’s always important to keep in mind that the “attack” (Trump) on Beirut’s port destroyed Lebanon’s main grain silo, apart from engineering the total destruction of the port – the nation’s key trade lifeline.

That would fit into a strategy of starving Lebanon. On the same day Lebanon became to a great extent dependent on Syria for food – as it now carries only a month’s supply of wheat – the US attacked silos in Syria.  Syria is a huge exporter of organic wheat. And that’s why the US routinely targets Syrian silos and burns its crops – attempting also to starve Syria and force Damascus, already under harsh sanctions, to spend badly needed funds to buy food.  In stark contrast to the interests of the US/France/Saudi axis, Plan A for Lebanon would be to progressively drop out of the US-France stranglehold and head straight into Belt and Road as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Go East, the Eurasian way. The port and even a great deal of the devastated city, in the medium term, can be quickly and professionally rebuilt by Chinese investment. The Chinese are specialists in port construction and management.

This avowedly optimistic scenario would imply a purge of the hyper-wealthy, corrupt weapons/drugs/real estate scoundrels of Lebanon’s plutocracy – which in any case scurry away to their tony Paris apartments at the first sign of trouble.  Couple that with Hezbollah’s very successful social welfare system – which I saw for myself at work last year – having a shot at winning the confidence of the impoverished middle classes and thus becoming the core of the reconstruction.

It will be a Sisyphean struggle. But compare this situation with the Empire of Chaos – which needs chaos everywhere, especially across Eurasia, to cover for the coming, Mad Max chaos inside the US.  General Wesley Clark’s notorious 7 countries in 5 years once again come to mind – and Lebanon remains one of those 7 countries. The Lebanese lira may have collapsed; most Lebanese may be completely broke; and now Beirut is semi-devastated. That may be the straw breaking the camel’s back – releasing the camel to the freedom of finally retracing its steps back to Asia along the New Silk Roads.

THE BEIRUT BLAST.
“AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE GEOPOLITICAL FORCES AT WORK”
 Dr. Chandra Muzaffar
Global Research, August 09, 2020

Four days after the Beirut Blast of 4th August 2020, the Lebanese president, Michel Aoun, has attempted to explain what caused the largest explosion since the end of the Second World War. He attributes it to either the accidental ignition of 2750 tons of Ammonium Nitrate (AN) stored in a warehouse at Beirut port or a planned attack by some external entity. There is maybe a nexus between the two causes.

If the blast was an accident, its impact has been devastating. More than a 160 people have died so far and at least 6000 have been injured. Most observers agree that the storage of the fertilizer did not adhere to safety procedures. Negligence and incompetence appear to have scarred the 6 year storage of the AN. Besides, it is alleged that fireworks were also  stored close to the warehouse recently.

A number of officials connected to the port and customs have been arrested. The elected government made up largely of representatives from the Shia and Christian communities is determined to show that it will not tolerate gross dereliction of duty and ineptitude. At the same time it is aware that it should not scapegoat any individual or group in order to protect the real culprits behind the blast.

It is quite conceivable that the real culprits are linked to the second likely cause —  a planned attack. This theory which has different variations has been advanced by some respected commentators. One such variation by the French writer, Thierry Meyssan argues that “Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu authorized a strike against a Hezbollah arms depot using a new weapon that has been tested for seven months in Syria.” The weapon which “is a missile with a tactical nuclear component in its warhead – causes a smoke mushroom characteristic of nuclear weapons “  but  “is obviously not an atomic bomb in the strategic sense. “It has also been deployed against Iranian military vessels in the Persian Gulf

Israel has of course denied  that it was behind the Beirut blast.  The Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has also insisted that his group has no arms depot at the Beirut port. In this regard it should be noted that it was Netanyahu who in a speech at the UN General Assembly  on 27 September 2018 alluded to alleged Hezbollah arms at a warehouse in Beirut port.  The allegation has never been proven.

This is why there has to be an impartial inquiry into the Beirut Blast of 4th August President Aoun and the Hezbollah are against internationalizing the inquiry. They fear that given  US and Western influence within the international system such an inquiry will be manipulated to exonerate Israel. A way out of this situation would be for the UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutteres to establish a small Committee of Inquiry comprising  a representative each from the US, France, China and Russia with the UNSG as the chair whose main objective  would be to determine who was responsible for the blast. The Committee will report its findings directly to the UN General Assembly.

The Committee should  look deeply at the two causes which President Aoun referred to. In examining the second possibility— an external attack  — the Committee one hopes will have the courage and the principles to reveal why Lebanon has been under tremendous pressure in the last few months, both economic and political, aimed at emasculating the government in Beirut and  bringing about a regime change that will benefit  Israel and  Western interests
Without such an understanding of the geopolitical forces at work  in the region where Lebanon is located,  it will not be possible  to fathom why the Beirut Blast occurred.

ISRAEL DESTROYS EAST BEIRUT WITH A NEW WEOPON
https://geopolitics.news/middle-east/israel-destroys-east-beirut-with-a-new-weapon

The first Israeli Prime Minister has ordered the destruction of a Hizbollah weapons warehouse in Beirut with a new weapon. The weapon, which is not well known, caused considerable damage in the city, killing more than 100 people, injuring 5,000 and destroying many buildings. This time it will be difficult for Benjamin Netanyahu to deny it.

The first Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, authorized a strike against a Hezbollah arms depot using a new weapon that has been tested for seven months in Syria. It is not known whether the second Prime Minister, Benny Gantz, gave his consent.

The strike was carried out on August 4, 2020, at the exact location designated by Benjamin Netanyahu in his speech to the United Nations on September 27, 2018 [1].

It is not known what weapon was used. However, it has already been tested in Syria since January 2020. It is a missile with a tactical nuclear component in its warhead that causes a smoke mushroom characteristic of nuclear weapons. It is obviously not an atomic bomb in the strategic sense.

The weapon was tested in Syria on a plain in the countryside and then in the Persian Gulf on the water against Iranian military vessels. This is the first time it has been used in an urban environment, in a particular environment that made the air blast and vibrations reflect off the water and the mountains. Far from destroying only the port of Beirut, it killed about a hundred people, injured at least 5,000 others, and largely destroyed the eastern part of the city (the western part was largely protected by the grain silo).

Israel immediately activated its networks in the international media to cover up its crime and lend credence to the idea of the accidental explosion of a fertilizer stockpile. As is often the case, false culprits are named, and the international media machine repeats this lie over and over again in the absence of any investigation. Yet there was indeed a smokestack incompatible with the thesis of a fertilizer explosion.

Just as neither Syria nor Iran had communicated about this weapon when they were hit, the Lebanese political parties immediately reached an agreement not to say anything in order not to demoralize their population. An investigation was opened, not into the cause of the explosion, but into the responsibility of the port’s personnel for the storage of the fertilizer allegedly responsible for the explosion. However, this lie soon turned against the political parties that had imagined it.

The United Nations Tribunal for Lebanon, which was due to make public its verdict in the case of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005, decided to postpone it for a few days. Identically in that case, the explosion of a pickup truck masked the firing of a missile with a new weapon, just as this time the explosion of nitrate masked the firing of a missile with another new weapon.

Five years later, five years too late, I revealed in a Russian magazine the manner in which Rafik Hariri had been killed [2], while Hezbollah published a video attesting to Israel’s involvement.

It is important to note that the 2005 assassination targeted a former Sunni Prime Minister and that the 2020 attack targeted not Shiite Hezbollah, but the Lebanese Resistance as a whole.

This time, several embassies carried out surveys, including taking grain samples and air filters from ambulances that immediately went to the scene. They are already being examined in their respective countries.

THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE UAE RECOGNITION OF ISRAEL NEEDS URGENT
ATTENTION. NOT ONLY IS THIS ANOTHER MARKER
OF THE RISING POWER OF GREATER ISRAEL BUT
THE SURRENDER, SUBSERVIENCE, HUMILIATION AND DEGRADATION OF THE ARAB MUSLIM NATIONS IN FRONT OF THEIR ARCH ENEMY.  IT IS CLEAR THAT THE SATANIC DAJJALIC ZIONIST IMPERIALIST AND RACIST STATE IS A CANCER WHICH HAS BEEN IMPLANTED BY THE WEST AND SUPPORT OF CHRISTIAN ZIONISTS. THIS BRUTAL CONQUEST AND COLONIALISM IS NOW CROWNED WITH NOTHING LESS THAN ARAB CAPITULATION.  HOWEVER, IT HAS OPENED UP ANOTHER NEW CHAPTER IN ISLAMIC HISTORY WHEN NON ARAB MUSLIMS WILL LEAD ISLAM BACK TO VICTORY NO MATTER WHAT THE ENEMIES CONSPIRE. LIKE THE CRUSADERS BEFORE THEY WILL BE BLOWN AWAY BY HISTORY.

THIS HAS BEEN  MENTIONED CLEARLY IN ISLAMIC ESCHATOLOGY AND MAYBE IT IS TIME TO REHEARSE THE FATE OF THOSE PEOPLE INHABITATING THE ARABIAN PENINSULA IN END TIMES. SUFFICE TO SAY THAT ISLAMIC ESCHATOLOGY DOES NOT AND WILL NOT REST IN THE HANDS OF A PEOPLE OR NATION UNFIT FOR GLOBAL ISLAMIC LEADERSHIP. AS ALLAH SWT HAS PROMISED TO RAISE THE BANNER AND POWER OF ISLAM IN THE HANDS OF OTHERS WHO ARE NOT ARABS. WHAT IS TAKING PLACE IS NO LESS THAN IDENTIFICATION OF THE  TWO SIDES IN THE FORTHCOMING GLOBAL BATTLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL AND JUSTICE AND INJUSTICE.

AS THIS HAS BROUGHT OUT INTO THE OPEN WHAT HAS BEEN CONSPIRING IN THE BACKGROUND FOR DECADES. THOSE IN THE UMMAH WHO ARGUE THAT THIS REPRESENTS TREASON AND BETRAYAL ARE SPOT ON. THIS  BODES ILL FOR THE ARAB MUSLIM NATIONS WHO ARE ACTING ON FEAR COWARDICE AND LOVE OF MATERIALISM. THIS IS ALSO DIVIDING NON ARAB MUSLIM NATIONS FROM THE ARAB STATES AS ARAB NATIONS ARE BEING SEEN TO BE ALLIED TO THEIR ARCH ENEMY AND SURRENDERING JERUSALEM AND AL QUDS.

THE LINES ARE BEING DRAWN IN THE SAND AND WE WILL SOON SEE WHO GOES DOWN THE QUICKSAND. WHAT CAN BE CLEARLY DEMARCATED IS THAT  IT IS NOT GOING TO BE A PRETTY SIGHT. WHILST THE ZIONISTS AND THEIR ALLIES MAYBE SMILING NOW THEIR FATE WILL NOT BE DISSIMILAR.
