ROUHANI TO SAUDI ARABIA : WE’LL PROTECT YOU FOR FREE !
https://crescent.icit-digital.org/articl...u-for-free

Addressing the opening session of 32nd International Unity Conference in Tehran on November 24, President Hassan Rouhani condemned the “Zionist tumor” implanted in the Middle East and offered to defend Saudi Arabia “for free”.

The three-day conference organized on the occasion of the birthday celebration of the Prophet (pbuh), was dedicated to the issue of al-Quds and Palestine.  Titled, ‘Al-Quds, Axis of Unity of the Ummah’, more than 600 guests were invited of which the Palestinian contingent was the largest.

Referring to the $450 billion protection money the US has got from the medieval kingdom, President Rouhani said despite this, “your patron [Trump] insults you.”  At a campaign rally in on September 27, Trump had said, “without US protection, Saudi Arabia would not last two weeks.”

Rouhani said the United States cultivates close ties with “regional Muslim nations” to protect Israel, an apparent reference to Saudi Arabia and the kingdom’s Arabian allies.   He said bowing to American pressure amounts to “treason” and only invites more insults.  The foul-mouthed American president in his September 27 speech had said he had spoken to the king of Saudi Arabia. “I told him you have lots of money. King, you have to give some of that money to us. You have to pay for your protection. We need $2 trillion.”  Despite such public insults, the Saudis stooped even lower. Saudi crown prince Muhammad bin Salman tried to brush the insult aside by saying “disagreements between friends” are normal.   But this was not a disagreement; this was public insult.  One either has to be very thick or thick-skinned (or both) to put up with such insults and keep smiling like a good slave.

For Bin Salman and the people around him, Islamic Iran is their “greatest enemy”. They have also publicly stated that Israelis are their cousins!  Reminding the audience of how Iran had valiantly defended itself singlehandedly for eight years against the Iraqi-led Arabian and Western attack, Rouhani offered to defend Saudi Arabia as well.   He said Iran has helped post-Saddam Iraq to fight Daesh terrorists, and was helping Syria to defend itself. Iran has also extended valuable support to Hisbullah in Lebanon and the Palestinian resistance groups, all facing Zionist crimes.

In fact, Ismail Haniyyah’s video message was broadcast to the conference. The Hamas Political Bureau chief offered profuse thanks to the Islamic Republic for its steadfast support and the dedication of this year’s conference to the issue of al-Quds and Palestine.

Rouhani said: “Iran is prepared to defend Saudi Arabia [as well] from terrorism and superpowers.”   He went on: “We do consider you as a brother… We do consider the people of Makkah and Madinah our brothers.”  But this is where Bedouin logic (or illogic) kicks in. They would rather pay $450 billion protection money to hustlers in the US and still get insulted but not accept the hand of friendship from Islamic Iran without paying a penny or being insulted.  The Bedouins feel more comfortable doing what their ancestors have done for decades: lick the boots of the imperialists and Zionists and get kicked in the teeth.  They still keep smiling and want to be kicked more. Such is the plight of slaves!

WITH STRONG FAITH IN ALLAH, RESISTANCE MOVEMENT WINNING- THE RAHBAR

“Islamic awakening is spreading and with strong faith in Allah, the Resistance movement is winning,’ said the Rahbar, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday November 25.

The Rahbar was addressing hundreds of foreign guests, ambassadors of Muslim and other countries in Tehran, senior government officials and ulama at the Rahbary (Office of the Rahbar).  The guests were invited to participate in the celebration of the birthdays of the Prophet (pbuh) and of Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as).  On the second of the three-day conference, foreign guests were taken from their hotels to the Rahbary. There was much anticipation in the air as the guests eagerly awaited the Rahbar’s arrival.

As he appeared from behind the curtains and moved to the centre of stage to take his seat, everyone in the massive hall immediately stood up shouting slogans in support of the Rahbar. He waved to the huge crowd as a kind and affectionate father would to his children.  He began by thanking Almighty Allah for all the favors bestowed upon the Muslim Ummah as well as sending the noor (light) of the Prophet (pbuh) to guide humanity. He congratulated the gathering on the birthdays of the noble Messenger (pbuh) and Imam Jafar as Sadiq (as).  The Rahbar then paid tribute to the late Imam Khomeini who led the Islamic revolution to success as well as to the martyrs whose sacrifices defended the revolution for 40 years.  He said that West Asia was undergoing great changes due to people’s reliance on Allah. This Islamic awakening, said the Rahbar, was causing great anxiety among arrogant powers led by the US.

“Anywhere that Islam has penetrated the hearts and minds of the people, the arrogant powers have been slapped. We strongly believe that these arrogant powers led by the US will be slapped again with increased Islamic awakening in this region,” the Rahbar added.
This was already evident in such places as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine where resistance movements have already defeated Zionist-imperialist intrigue. Even in poor Yemen, the resistance movement, led by the valiant Ansarallah fighters, has frustrated the designs of the aggressors.

The Rahbar also drew attention to the 40-year struggle of the Islamic Republic against the intrigues of the imperialists and Zionists and their allies.   “From the day when our revolution was a small sampling 40 years ago to today that it has become a strong tree, the Islamic Republic has withstood the enemies’ intrigues. Today, the revolutionary people of Iran, especially the youth are making great strides in all fields. This is the direct result of their total reliance on the divine power of Allah.”    Referring to Islamic Iran’s experience and success, the Rahbar urged Islamic thinkers and scholars to “strengthen Islamic awakening and the resistance movement in the region as best they can, because the only way for the salvation of the region is to spread this spirit of resistance and pure Islamic thought.”

The Rahbar also paid rich tribute to the Palestinian Islamic resistance movements that have gradually gained confidence and strength and put the Zionists on the defensive. This year’s International Islamic Unity Conference has been dedicated to the struggle for the liberation of al Quds and Palestine from the clutches of the Zionists.   Addressing rulers of regional countries, the Rahbar said, “Our advice to you is to return to the rule of Islam and come under the authority of Allah because the rule of America and Satan will not benefit you.”

He cited the case of Saudi Arabia and its allies that have become the target Donald Trump’s insults, saying such remarks are an insult to all Muslims.  “America, based on its arrogant nature, is humiliating these countries and, as everyone has seen, the ill-mannered president of the United States, has likened Saudi rulers to milking cows,” said Imam Khamenei.  The Rahbar also touched on the Saudi-led aggression against Yemen and its plans to forge close ties with Zionist Israel.  “Certain rulers of Muslim countries have allied with America in the twin criminal acts in Palestine and Yemen but victory will insha-Allah belong to the Palestinian and Yemeni people. America and its followers will be defeated,” declared the Rahbar with confidence and deep faith in Allah.

Imam Khamenei said the US and Israel are now much weaker than before. Their “desperation, foolish accusations and cruel and criminal acts” are due to the resistance of the Muslims “that will bear fruit.”  Stressing the significance of uniting around the light of the noble Prophet (pbuh), the Rahbar said Muslims would be able to overcome all challenges in the world.
“At a time when the world was immersed in the darkness of ignorance and deceit, Allah in His infinite mercy bestowed upon entire mankind the light of Prophet Muhammad. If we follow this light today, it will lead us to prosperity and salvation,” said the Rahbar.   “If humanity achieves the maturity to accept the Prophet’s invitation, all of its calamities would be resolved,” he added.

Imam Khamenei said that the world was engulfed in darkness because of the oppression unleashed by the dominant powers.  “Today, humanity is afflicted with numerous problems. This is not only the case in the Muslim world, rather countries that are apparently developed also suffer from such afflictions.”  He advised them to study Islam to find solutions to their problems in its pristine principles.   No wiser words could be said, Allahu Akbar!

MUSLIM UNITY IS NOT AN ILLUSION IT IS AN OBLIGATION

Nationalism is a sickness. Racism is a plague. And sectarianism is a cancer. These are the three major illnesses that afflict the Muslims — from the time the first Islamic country came into existence in Arabia over 14 centuries ago up to this very day. Here, we shall try to make a diagnosis of sectarianism, setting aside much of its history.

The words Sunni and Shi‘i have made their way into the political parlance of current events. You may want to review the news items and news commentaries of the Islamic world before the Islamic Revolution in Iran to find out how scarcely the words Sunni and Shi‘i figured into political articles and ideological books then. Now, though, you will find these words tucked into geopolitical analyses and sociopolitical studies about Muslim countries — ranging from the political right to the political left. Even Muslim writers are towing this highbrow line of thought! This “Sunni-Shi‘i” characterization of diplomacy and wars appears to be the fad of the near future.

We neither have the time nor are we straightaway interested in butting intellectual heads with writers and thinkers whose ideas are molded by the high god of Zionism and imperialism. Our immediate concern is with those Muslim writers and journalists who have shacked themselves in the sectarian fleapit.

To begin with, any rational Muslim will tell you that the Muslims of the world, excluding the enlightened ones, will consider themselves either Sunnis or Shi‘is. Ask them: was the Prophet (pbuh) a Sunni or was he a Shi‘i? And you will get an assortment of answers. Not much success there…  Then ask: is your definition of a Sunni or a Shi‘i a definition that brings all Muslims together? Does your definition exclude the other (Sunni or Shi‘i) from being considered an “equal Muslim”? Here, you will have him/her begin to think (quite an accomplishment; as many of these Muslims have inherited their identities without thinking about who they are).

Then ask them: as we all agree that the Qur’an is our ultimate reference, can you produce for me one ayah that substantiates your (hereditary) definition of who a Sunni is? Or who a Shi‘i is? If your interlocutor remains calm and honest, he will confess that there is no ayah in the Qur’an that validates his conventional definition of his own Sunni or Shi‘i assumptions.

Then ask: are there fanatic Sunnis and fanatic Shi‘is around? Can you identify them for me? What makes them fanatics? Is thereany ayah in the Qur’an or is there any consensual hadith, which is compatible with the Qur’an, that explains such fanaticism? If your interlocutor is open, reasonable, and candid he will begin to rethink his inbred beliefs.

All of these questions and similar ones are not meant to demean any Muslim as much as they are meant to reject and rule out the bigotry and the bias that many Muslims have toward each other — precisely the components of today’s sectarianism.

Say good-bye to your friend and take a moment to spend with yourself. Look at the Muslim world and observe how sectarianism has been manipulated by those who have power and wealth; inside the house of Islam and outside of it to wreak havoc on hundreds of millions of poor Muslims who just two generations ago were faintly aware that they are Sunnis or Shi‘is!

It would be asking too much to expect a Sunni to pray like a Shi‘i, or to expect a Shi‘i to pray like a Sunni; in other words, there is not enough maturity in both the Sunni and the Shi‘i Muslims to come to the point where they both exchange recognition of the other in practical terms. Pray like each other. Fast like each other. And perform the rituals of Islam like each other. It is because of this inability that we have Muslims at psychological distances from each other. This is where sectarianism begins.

Okay. Let us move on. If the average Muslim considers the “other” Muslim incorrect in the way he performs his rituals we end up fostering a form of bias and in some cases intolerance and discrimination. Case in point: when was the last time you saw a Sunni scholar give the Friday khutbah in a Shi‘i masjid, and vice versa? Has there ever been a Shi‘i scholar who led the prayers in al-Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, or al-Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah? Has there ever been a Sunni scholar who led the jama‘ah prayers in Mashhad, or al-Najaf or Karbala’? And even if this was ever to occur, it should not be for public consumption or a showcase event. It should be done with a mass public Muslim recognition of the equality of the Islamic madhhabs (schools of thought). These narrow-minded-cum-mean-minded fiqhi variances attributed to the respected Islamic faqihs, and not to the Prophet (pbuh) himself, is what has kept us from assuming and resuming our socio-political responsibilities.

Taking this to another level, both the Sunni and the Shi‘i historical developments metastasized into bigoted and sectarian drifts. In the Sunni sphere there are those Wahhabis and Salafis who go to the extent of labeling the Shi‘is as kafirs. In the Shi‘i sphere there are those Safawis (Safavis in Persian) and Hujjatis who consider Sunnis to be outside the pale of Islam. Both of these represent the deadly outcome that comes from our initial inability to identify ourselves as equal Muslims (regardless of madhhab) and more importantly to express that by unifying our masjids in a way that it really does not matter whether a particular prayer leader prays according to a madhab other than mine.

There are larger fish to fry than to be sinking into the pits of circular arguments pertaining to ritualistic performances. There is a hadith from the Prophet (pbuh) that says, “Allah does not take into consideration your outward show; rather He takes into consideration your internal reality.”

The fanaticism in the Sunni context has taken a major blow — a potential knockout by the high crimes and misdemeanors of the Saudi tribal regime and the financial clout it has, or should we say had, throughout the world. Many Muslims are waking up and looking at an ugly and disgusting Saudi regime that is beginning to disintegrate due to its role in the war on populations in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya, etc, not to mention its crimes against individuals who are its own citizens from Jamal Khashoggi to the hundreds of ‘ulema’ whao have been rounded up in a humiliating manner, thrown into prison, and either forgotten about or awaiting a kangaroo court to sentence them to long terms in prison or to put them on death row. Islamic activists, writers, scholars, and observers are speaking out against the tyranny and the lackey regime in Arabia that takes its orders from Zionist henchmen and imperialist bosse

The fanaticism in the Shi‘i context is brewing beneath the surface. Our brothers and sisters in the Islamic Republic of Iran have been riding a crest of well-deserved successes as costly as they have been over 40 long years… But they have to begin to address the cancer of sectarianism in their midst; two scholars, among others, who did just that were the late Ayatullah Mutahhari and Dr. Ali Shariati. Their lessons, articles, and books on this subject, as far as this writer knows, do not circulate; this, in and of itself, proves that the sectarians do have sizeable clout within the Islamic Republic.

Our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran have shown the rest of the Muslims a very commendable character of civility and courtesy. Their efforts at bringing the Muslims together are admirable. Their bypassing of the ritualistic issues that divide the rest of the Muslims within the house of Islam is laudable. But we would be naive to make believe that Shi‘i sectarians are negligible and of no influence. Like all nations, Islamic Iran has its share of nationalists and even racists. But that does not concern us as much as the sectarians who can bring the Islamic Revolution to a halt, stifle the Islamic Republic, and reverse most if not all the progress of the past four decades. We dread a day in the future when the sectarian clout reverses Walayah al-Faqih and turns the clock back to the “negative/passive anticipation” of the Imam in occultation. Forewarned is forearmed.

O you who are faithfully committed to Allah [His power and authority]! Be on guard concerning Allah [His power presence and overriding authority] as is due to Him, and do not die except as Muslims [surrendering to His dominance] (3:102).

SYRIA ENDGAME
Kevin Barrett
Zionists and imperialists lose but the war continues
https://crescent.icit-digital.org/articl...ia-endgame

Is the war in Syria finally winding down? Maybe the best answer is: insha’Allah. The good news is that a major, long-planned regime change operation targeting Damascus has clearly failed. As 2018 fades into 2019, the Syrian government has gained control of a vast and growing percentage of its territory. The peace process spearheaded by Iran, Turkey, and Russia, in partnership with Syria, has made slow but steady progress toward a tantalizingly elusive final settlement; while the three meddling, destabilizing outsiders who created the whole mess — the US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel — have been sidelined.

On December 19, US president Donald Trump announced a “complete and rapid withdrawal” of 2,000 US troops from Syria. The US exit from both the peace process and the war essentially deprives the self-proclaimed sole superpower and policeman of the unipolar world from having any significant influence over the future of Syria. Such a development would have been unimaginable just a few years ago. Clearly the US empire is sinking faster than anyone expected.
Saudi Arabia,  source of most of the funding for the takfiri “rebels,” got kicked out of Syria earlier and in an even more humiliating manner, Saudi proxy Da‘ish was systematically destroyed (ironically, Trump, who is financially beholden to the Saudis, is using the defeat of Saudi asset, Da‘ish, as his excuse to pull out!).

Clown Prince Bin Salman has bungled on so many fronts that it is a wonder he still has a job. Saudi support for Da‘ish and its clones bought a few years of regional destruction and horror, as well as bad PR for Islam in general and the caliphate project in particular. But it brought no lasting strategic advantage for its Saudi sponsors. On the contrary, it solidified regional opposition to the inept and arrogant Saudi royals — especially in places like Iraq, where Da‘ish’s horrors were on full display; Lebanon, where the kidnapping of Prime Minister Sa‘d Hariri and the infiltration of Bin-Salman-backed terrorists illustrated the downside of accepting Saudi money and influence; and Qatar, where the Clown Prince’s blockade and foiled invasion plan made an enemy of Doha. Meanwhile in Yemen, where the Saudis’ “quagmire genocide” sinks ever-deeper into failure and horror, the disastrous foolishness of Saudi leadership makes itself plain to the entire world, underlining the lesson of the Khashoggi murder and cover-up and turning global opinion against the madman of Riyadh.

Though Zionist Israel has not suffered the obvious crushing defeat in Syria that the US and Saudis have, in the long run Tel Aviv may be the biggest loser. For the Syrian war is, more than anything else, a Zionist-sponsored regime change operation aimed at preparing the overthrow of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Former National Security Council member Gwenyth Todd, who has advised such leading Israel-first neoconservatives as Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz, told me in a December 14 interview that the US invasion of Iraq was launched for a single overriding reason: to fill Iraq with US military forces and bases in preparation for inflicting regime change on Iran. The intended beneficiary, Todd says, was Israel, not the US (listen to the interview).

Likewise the war on Syria was orchestrated by the same neoconservatives for the same reason. A leading neoconservative operator, Jeffrey Feltman, spearheaded the neocon-Zionist plan to create a phony “civil war” in Syria. The aim was to replace an Iranian ally, Bashar al-Asad, with an anti-Iran regime that would assist with the Zionists’ long-dreamed-of plan to take down the Islamic Republic. Feltman recruited the former Saudi ambassador to the United States, Bandar bin Sultan, to help with logistics and funding. Beginning in 2008 Bandar raised over $2 billion, which according to a Wikileaked Strafor file was used in a two-pronged strategy: seemingly legitimate, nonviolent “civil society” movements were organized to opposed al-Asad, while at the same time professional thugs were trained in the tactics of terror: bombing, arson, sniping, assassinations… and of course chemical weapons and false flags.

The 2011 Arab Spring provided the perfect pretext for unleashing both prongs. Thugs in the pay of Feltman and Bandar simultaneously fired on both police and protestors, convincing each side that the other was doing the shooting. A wave of terrorism by Feltman’s goons provoked al-Asad’s forces into overreacting against civilians. The result was mayhem. Then Bandar sent in his takfiri “Arab legions” and Syria descended into chaos.

But the Zionist regime change plan backfired, for two reasons. First, a majority of the Syrian people, sensing something amiss in Feltman’s “pro-democracy” propaganda, remained loyal to al-Asad and the lawful Syrian government. Second, Iran, Russia, and Hizbullah joined the fight. All three knew that if Syria fell, their own nations would be next on the regime-changers’ agenda.

US?military presence in Syria in mid-2018. Differing reports have been published regarding where in Syria the US military occupation of that country are based; however, recent reports indicate that there are 14 bases for the US invasion forces. Russian media agencies suggest the existence of 10 American military bases in Syrian territory. However, Iranian intelligence has provided more detailed data, that there are 14 American bases in Syria, of which 12 are located in the north of the country and two in the south. Turkish media outlets have also reported about the existence of 13 US arms depots in Kurdish territories, which are located in close proximity to American bases. With the US troop withdrawal, what will happen to these bases has not yet been made public. Additionally, and more importantly, nothing has been said about the Israeli military presence in Syria, especially in the Kurdish-controlled areas.

The full scale of Israel’s defeat in Syria was made clear on September 17, 2018 when the Zionists lured a Russian Il-20 plane into the killing zone of a Syrian air defense battery. Russia squarely blamed Zionist Israel for the deaths of the plane’s 18 crew members, announced that it would provide Syria with its advanced S-400 air defense system (thereby depriving Israel of access to the skies of Syria), and downgraded its pretense of helping the Zionists push Iran and Hizbullah out of Syria, where they have been invited by the legitimate Syrian government.

Unlike the US and Saudi Arabia, both of which have suffered painful but not mortal defeats in Syria, Zionist Israel faces a potentially existential crisis stemming from its failed regime change plan. Caught in the pincers of a surging global BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions) movement on one side and a tenacious armed resistance spearheaded by Hamas and Hizbullah on the other, the Zionists have staked everything on their hopes of destroying the Islamic Republic of Iran, the only remaining state supporting the Palestinians. But though the Zionists got away with their 9/11 false flag operation, and succeeded in hijacking the American military to fight their “seven countries in five years” war, they have been defeated by the combined resistance of the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria… along with less direct resistance in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, and many other places.

Neither Afghanistan nor Iraq nor Syria is in any condition to serve as a launchpad for the Zionist-hijacked US golem’s phantasmagorical invasion of Iran. Despite the best efforts of John Bolton and other bought-and-paid-for Sheldon Adelson assets, it seems unlikely that Iran, the seventh and most important of the “seven countries in five years” targeted by the 9/11 false flag, will face a major US attack.

But never underestimate the duplicity and cunning of the Zionists, especially when they are backed up against the proverbial wall. Smarting from their proxies’ loss in Syria, the Zionists have made clear their desire to avenge their 2006 defeat by Hizbullah. Benyamin Netanyahu’s self-pitying squealing about Hizbullah’s tunnels, and his launch of Operation Northern Shield (termed “Operation Netanyahu Shield” by Israelis who see it as a political ploy to ward off his impending prosecution for corruption) could signal another Israeli invasion of Lebanon. And if the Zionist extremists decide to go for broke, they could couple a Lebanon invasion with another big false flag designed to drag the US into war on Iran. We should not rule out such scenarios as an Israeli-instigated cyber-attack blamed on Iran, a “Persian Gulf of Tonkin” incident, or even an assassination of war-averse Trump putting Christian Zionist fanatic Mike Pence in the White House.

So, though the war on Syria may be winding down, it was always just one front of a larger regional war — the Zionist war on the heartland of Islam. That war rages on. It will not end until the Zionist entity has been decisively defeated and the racist Zionist ideology consigned to the dustbin of history.

WHAT WILL THE MIDDLE EAST LOOK LIKE IN 2019?
In 2019, old conflicts in the Middle East will persist and new ones might erupt.

PRESIDENT ALVI DEMANDS INDIAN GOVERNMENT UPHOLD RIGHTS OF KASHMIRI PEOPLE
https://www.dawn.com/news/1461965/presid...iri-people

President Arif Alvi on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day demanded the Indian government uphold the rights of the Kashmiri people instead of trying and failing to "justify its terrorism" against innocent citizens by pushing a "false narrative of 'killing militants'."

President Alvi in an address to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday issued a list of demands for the Indian government:

  • Free all political prisoners
  • Uphold freedom of expression in Kashmir
  • Ban the use of firearms against Kashmiri citizens
  • Ban the use of pellet guns against Kashmiris
  • Withdraw draconian 'black laws' in Kashmir
  • Allow IOK leaders to travel freely and "make their case abroad"
  • Allow international rights observers into IOK to "see the situation for themselves"
  • Lift restrictions on electronic communications

The president urged the Indian government to lift restrictions on electronic communications in Kashmir so that international media and social media are in the know about what is happening in the occupied territory.

"If you are in the right, the world will come to know about it. And if you are in the wrong, the world will find out about," President Alvi challenged the Indian government.  The president also asked the United Nations to send a fact-finding commission to IOK and "fulfil the promises it made to Pakistan and India".
"I salute your struggle," he said, addressing the people of Kashmir. "Pakistan is with you."

The president, in a separate special message, recalled that the purpose of Feb 5 is to "demonstrate to our Kashmiri brothers and sisters and the world at large that we have not forgotten the long-pending dispute of Jammu and Kashmir, and the struggle of the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir against woeful Indian occupation."

The president hit out at the international community's indifference to grave human rights violations by Indian forces in Kashmir, which he said "raise doubts in the minds of Kashmiris, hinting at a double standard where every atrocity goes unpunished and every human rights violation, uncondemned."

"It reduces the UN Human Rights Charter to mere verbal rhetoric," he stressed.
"Behind its false narrative of 'killing militants', India has been trying to justify its terrorism but has failed miserably," Alvi asserted.
Alvi described a
report by the UN Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights documenting alleged human rights violations in Kashmir as a "turning point and a watershed moment for the Kashmiri community all over the world".

The president said Pakistan supports the proposals contained in the report and calls for the expedited establishment of a Commission of Inquiry to probe the human rights situation in IOK as per the report's recommendations. He reiterated Pakistan's "unflinching solidarity" with the people of occupied Kashmir, Radio Pakistan reported. "Pakistan ... pays homage to the heroes and martyrs of this epic struggle for liberation that has become a living symbol of the indomitable human spirit. Your cries for azadi cannot be suppressed," the president said.

Pakistan reiterates its unflinching solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and pays homage to the heroes & martyrs of this epic struggle for liberation that has become a living symbol of the indomitable human spirit.Your cries for Azadi cannot be suppressed

"We reassure our Kashmiri brothers and sisters that we will remain consistent in our principled position on Kashmir. The entire Pakistani nation stands with its Kashmiri brethren in their valiant struggle to achieve the legitimate right to self-determination."

"It is our firm belief that The Kahsmiris will succeed in their struggle," he added.

The UN Resolution on Kashmir adopted on January 24, 1957, states: "The final disposition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir will be made in accordance with the will of the people expressed through the democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite conducted under the auspices of the United Nations."

'Kashmiri struggle continues despite Indian atrocities'

@pid_gov

Message from Imran Khan Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, 5th February 2019. #KashmirSolidarityDay #KashmirMatters #IAmKashmir

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his special message observed that the Kashmiri struggle for freedom is gaining strength with each passing day, and deplored that despite the passage of 70 years, the dispute remains unresolved.  The premier pointed out that despite the passage of seven decades, the Kashmir dispute remains unresolved. "Ruthless killings, pellet injuries to children and infants, rapes and torture; Indian atrocities in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir continue unabated and so does the spirit and courage of Kashmiris in their fight to achieve the legitimate right to self-determination."

The premier noted that the "number of tortures, rapes and killings perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces against innocent Kashmiris has become a case study in unprecedented violence."

"Thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been brutally tortured and extra-judicially killed during forced disappearances or illegal custody by the Indian occupation forces, which enjoy full immunity under draconian laws."

The observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day commemorates the "strong and unflinching resolve of the Kashmiris to achieve the inalienable right to self-determination from Indian subjugation which does not weaken, rather strengthens with every passing day, and with each new act of Indian cruelty," the prime minister concluded.

Kashmiris will get their rights, vows FM Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a special message on Tuesday reiterated the Pakistani nation's resolve to stand in solidarity with Kashmiris battling Indian oppression and brutality in Indian-occupied Kashmir. The nation is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day in a befitting manner with a pledge to continue extending all possible support to the people of Kashmir, who have been struggling for more than seven decades to get their legitimate right to self-determination.
The day is being observed in Pakistan and other parts of the world at a time when Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir have reached a new level of oppression and human rights denial to crush the indigenous freedom movement against the subjugating forces.

"Today is February 5, and the entire Pakistani nation is standing in solidarity with Kashmiris," Qureshi said from London ? where he is scheduled at attend a conference on Kashmir ? in a video message on Tuesday.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi Special Message for Kashmir Solidarity Day (05.02.19)@SMQureshiPTI #KashmirSolidarityDay

"I would have been very happy if the Hurriyat leaders were free, if their passports had not been confiscated, if they had been given the opportunity to express themselves," Qureshi said. "Today people would not be chanting slogans of freedom in the shadow of bayonets."   "They will get their rights in the end," the foreign minister asserted. "As the resolve, courage and determination [to struggle for freedom] has been passed onto the younger generation, it has become clear that this movement will reach its conclusive end."

The foreign minister said that every child, every institution, every intellect in Pakistan is with the Kashmiris and lauds their sacrifices.
In a separate message shared on Radio Pakistan, Qureshi said that India's consistent denial of the right of Kashmiris to freedom is a telling example of impunity. "The human rights violations in IOK are a blot on the conscience of humanity and demand immediate corrective action by the international community," he stressed.  The foreign minister noted that reports from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on Jammu and Kashmir and the United Kingdom's All-Parties Parliamentary Group on Kashmir have removed the veil from decades of obfuscation by India of massive human rights violations and unspeakable crimes against humanity in the valley.

"Pakistan remains committed to finding a just and peaceful resolution to this long standing dispute. Our principled position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is based on none other than the United Nations Security Council resolutions. These resolutions provide for the final disposition of Jammu and Kashmir dispute through a free and impartial plebiscite under the auspices of the United Nations," Qureshi explained.

The foreign minister pointed out that Kashmir is the "core dispute" between Pakistan and India. "The dream of peace and prosperity of the people of this region will remain elusive without resolving this dispute in accordance with the aspirations of its people," he added. Qureshi urged the international community to not forget its obligation towards the people of Kashmir, and to understand that continued apathy to the sufferings of the Kashmiri people could have disastrous consequences, not just for the region but potentially for the world at large.

'Determined Kashmiris shall succeed'
Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor also tweeted a message in support of Kashmir.  The DG ISPR said that the decades of atrocities engineered by Indian occupation forces in Kashmir "have failed to suppress [the] ever-strengthening, legitimate freedom struggle".

"Determined Kashmiris shall succeed," he added.

Kashmir remains a long pending unresolved issue on UN agenda since 1948. Decades of atrocities by Indian Occupation Forces have failed to suppress ever strengthening legitimate freedom struggle. Determined Kashmiris shall succeed IA.#KashmirSolidarityDay

'India playing blame game to side-step real issue'
Ambassador to China Masood Khalid while addressing an event organised by Islamabad at Pakistan Embassy College Beijing said that instead of stopping state violence in IOK and recognising the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people, India is playing a blame game in order to side-step the real issue and divert the attention of the international community. Khalid said that despite all measures to subjugate them, the spirit of the people of Kashmir remained free and alive, [url=http://www.radio.gov.pk/05-02-2019/india-playing-blame-game-to-side-step-real-issue-of-kashmir-masood-khalid]Radio Pakistan reported.

'Resolving Kashmir dispute should be a priority'

Former Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, who called on Qureshi in London, emphasised that resolution of the Kashmir dispute should be high on the agenda of the international community, Radio Pakistan reported. He reiterated that there was no military solution to this dispute and that peaceful and meaningful dialogue was the only way forward. Bondevik reaffirmed his commitment for the resolution of the dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and welcomed initiatives such as the International Conference on Jammu and Kashmir.

Govt plans activities to mark Feb 5
The government has planned a number of activities to mark the day and expose massive human rights violations and brutality being committed by the Indian forces to suppress the indigenous freedom movement. The nation observed a minute’s silence at 10am to pay tributes to the Shuhada of Kashmir for sacrificing their lives for the right to self-determination. After that, a human chain was formed at D-Chowk in Islamabad with an active participation of people from all walks of life. Human chains will also be formed at all connecting points of Pakistan and AJK. Rallies, public meetings and seminars will be held across the country and in AJK. Television channels will broadcast special documentaries and newspapers will publish special editions to highlight the miseries of the people of held Kashmir. Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan will broadcast different programmes regarding the Kashmir Solidarity Day. A Kashmir festival has been planned at Lok Virsa Islamabad. Kashmir artists and singers will perform in the festival.

COUNTDOWN TO RETURN OF THE KHILAFAH ON THE WORLD STAGE IS COMING AS THE DAJJALIC PHARAONIC NWO ORDERNEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH THE UNIVERSAL PARADIGM SHIFT TOWARDS A NEW MORAL JUST POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC ORDER

ON THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KHILAFAH, THERE IS GLOBAL APPETITE FOR CHANGE
http://www.hizb.org.uk/viewpoint/on-the-...for-change

The liberal West considers its historical evolution as progress itself. The revival of ancient Greek philosophy, art and culture in the 14th and 15th centuries was called a renaissance. This led to the Reformation where the Church’s authority was challenged. Culminating in the Enlightenment which saw ‘reason’, individualism and science take centre stage. All of this led to the industrial era and modernity as we know it. Today we live in a postmodern world, we are led to believe.

During WW1, France, Britain and Russia were deciding amongst themselves how they should dismember the Muslim world and who should get which piece. What prospect the Khilafah had was put to rest by the 3rd of March 1924 when the Khaleef was expelled from Turkey. The Muslim world was dismembered, and new nations were created for the Muslims. The Muslims were told that Islam was holding them back and they needed to become like the West and embrace its values.

In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed and with it so did the communist ideology. Capitalism had triumphed and the development of ideas had come to an end, with the last remaining ideology standing supreme. Individualism, free markets, free trade, democracy, etc were the only way to progress and for happiness to be achieved.

Today, 95 years since the destruction of the Khilafah and a few decades since the fall of communism in the world, rather than being in a better situation, the world is in a state of apathy and despair, regardless of the type of regime people live under.

Tonight, over 3 billion people – half the world’s population – will have nothing to eat, as half the world’s population live under the poverty line. This takes place despite there being more wealth in the world than in the whole of human history. The dominance of a small elite across the world has seen governments protect their interests at the expense of the masses and this has led many to turn to unconventional politics in the hope of bringing change. Despite capitalism having little competition, the frustration of people is growing faster than its hegemony.

The appetite for change can be seen through numerous examples. In the US, decades of neglect saw the US public turn to Donald Trump – who has never had any experience in public office – in the hope that ordinary people’s voices could be heard. The US establishment was forced to turn to such an unconventional person to maintain the mirage of change. In France, in 2017 Emmanuel Macron – who was not part of any political party – ran as an independent candidate to show he was not part of the establishment and a vote for him was a vote for change. Many in France also turned to the right-wing racist party of Marine Le Pen in the hope that their long forgotten voices could be heard. Were it not for France’s two round presidential electoral process (ostensibly designed to keep outsiders from winning), she would have won. France is now seeing in the Gilet Jaunes (yellow vests) protests against tax rises, further indicative of the appetite for change. In the UK, many never understood the implications of leaving the EU, but voted for Brexit in order to teach the establishment a lesson.

We see similar trends in the Muslim world with the electoral success of Imran Khan in Pakistan. Whilst many see the Arab Spring through the lens of Syria, the long-term dictators in Sudan and Algeria are struggling to maintain their positions as the masses have taken to the streets for change. In Egypt, the dismal years of Sisi have seen him attempting to change the countries constitutions in the hope of dealing with the opposition and remain in power for longer.

The appetite for change is rising because the ordinary person has not just been neglected but failed, by capitalism. In the economic crisis ten years ago the economic elites were bailed out and the public were forced to survive a decade of austerity. This discontent will only increase as the economic situation sets to worsen globally and the basic cost of living for many more becomes unachievable.

In the artificial nations created in the Muslim world after the destruction of the Khilafah, many remain unstable and the long-term needs of the masses continue to be neglected. In Egypt despite the growing population, the economic situation is worse today then it was under Hosni Mubarak.  In Tunisia, the Muslims are back on the streets again as the government has failed to solve the challenges the masses face.

Across the world, wherever one looks – whether in the Muslim world or beyond – the appetite for change is sky high. Capitalism, after three decades of uncontested hegemony, has enriched a tiny few and failed the rest. The individualism of the liberal ideology has not only emancipated the masses but has also created loneliness, a mental health crisis, family breakdown and demographic decline. Despite such glaring failure, the elites in the West constantly attack Islam.

On this 95th anniversary, the Khilafah and Islam remain the only salvation, not just for Muslims but the whole world. A world in dire need of this Islamic system – one which puts needs before wants, the masses before the elite and humanity before economic gain. A system helmed by a just ruler who fears Allah (swt), implementing the rule of law instead of focusing on political point scoring and career advances. The Khilafah will see all of humanity as human beings who have needs and rights ordained for them, as opposed to creating nationalistic divisions and viewing humans as merely economic commodities. The imminent return of this Khilafah state is inevitable and will be the beacon of light today’s world is so desperately in need of.

In the run-up to India's elections this week, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi made a startling revelation on Sunday that Delhi was planning more military action against Pakistan in the third week of April and called on the international community to reprimand India for its irresponsible conduct.

The foreign minister, while addressing a press conference in Multan, announced that the government has "reliable intelligence that India is devising a new plan".

Take a look: How Pakistan, India pulled back from brink of war

"Preparations are being made, and there are chances of another attack against Pakistan. According to our information, the action could be taken between April 16-20," he added.

"A new mishap could be staged in Indian-occupied Kashmir, just like [the] Pulwama [attack]. And its purpose will be to justify their [India's] offensive against Pakistan and to increase diplomatic pressure against Islamabad," he explained. "If it happens, you can imagine the impact of the occurrence on the peace and stability of the region."

He said that Pakistan has already briefed the United Nations Security Council's P5 [permanent five member countries] over the issue and stated Pakistan's apprehensions.

"We want the international community to take notice of this irresponsible behaviour and reprimand them [India] for taking this route," he said.

Qureshi also criticised the global community for remaining silent over Indian aggression against Pakistan on Feb 26. He said that international powers did not reprimand India despite blatant violation of international laws on the part of India due to geopolitics.

"The international community, given the sensitivity of this flashpoint, should not remain silent," he stated, adding that the global community should and would have to play their role in this regard.

Last week, the Indian government faced embarrassment when a Foreign Policy magazine report citing senior US defence officials stated that none of Pakistan's F-16 jets had been shot down by the Indian Air Force contrary to India's claims on Feb 27, when tensions between both countries had spiked in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack.

On February 14, at least 40 Indian security personnel were killed in a suicide attack targeting a military convey in Indian-occupied Kashmir. Although the attack was initially claimed by a Kashmiri youth, the Jaish-e-Mohammad later took responsibility for it. On February 26, Indian warplanes violated Pakistani airspace and allegedly struck what New Delhi claimed was a JeM training camp, a claim rejected by Pakistan and never proved by India.

The next day, Pakistani jets fired at various targets from across the Line of Control. As the Indian Air Force engaged the Pakistani jets, the PAF shot down two Indian warplanes one of which crashed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and captured an Indian pilot. Wing Commander Abhinandan. The pilot was released on March 1 as a gesture of peace by the Pakistani government.

GEOPOLITICAL IMPACT OF THE STILLBORN ‘DEAL OF THE CENTURY’
Deal a cover for accelerating Greater Israel colonial expansion
Kevin Barrett
https://crescent.icit-digital.org/articles/geopolitical-impact-of-the-stillborn-deal-of-the-century

Deal of the Century is a 1983 Hollywood comedy about crooked arms dealers conspiring to peddle new weapons that “allow for localized and conventional wars that will keep (the global arms industry’s) business viable into the next century.” Thirty-five years later, a non-fictional crooked businessman, Jared Kushner, has borrowed the title for his so-called Middle East peace plan. Is this some kind of sick joke? A bad Hollywood remake? Have Kushner and his accomplices, Jason Greenblatt and David Friedman, chosen this title for their so-called peace plan as a snarky acknowledgment that its real purpose is to keep the Zionist war on the Muslim East viable into the next century?

Kushner’s alleged peace plan was obviously set up to fail. It does not offer the bare minimum acceptable to Palestinians: a genuinely sovereign Palestine including all territories stolen by Israel in 1967, with its capital al-Quds, alongside an Israeli acknowledgment of the internationally-recognized Palestinian right of return and a plan — however gradual — for its implementation. Anything less is a non-starter. Kushner’s plan does not just offer a little less than the above, nor even a lot less. It is a joke. According to Arab officials briefed on the plan, the Zionists would keep and expand their colonies on territories stolen in 1967. They would take all of al-Quds, leaving a few Palestinian neighborhoods on the outskirts. There would be no sovereign Palestinian state. Instead, the Palestinians would be herded into a slightly-expanded Gaza open-air concentration camp including a small portion of the adjacent Egyptian desert that would remain under Egyptian, not Palestinian, control. The resulting constellation of Bantustans would be labeled “New Palestine,” and its residents would have no sovereignty. Instead, they would actually pay their Israeli prison wardens for “protection.”

The “deal” amounts to the liquidation of Palestine and the complete genocide of the Palestinian people. Clearly Kushner’s radical Zionist advisors, Jason Greenblatt and David Friedman, know that their plan is not only unviable, but an insult to every Palestinian. The only thing it offers is money — as if the Palestinians, who have fought and sacrificed bravely for their cause for more than a century (losing tens of thousands of martyrs in the process) are willing to prostitute themselves in return for something even worse than humiliating surrender.

Clearly this grossly insulting proposal was designed to be rejected. Its real purpose is to unleash a new round of war justified by the public relations slogan, “We offered the Palestinians a very good deal, so good we called it ‘the deal of the century,’ but those ungrateful Palestinians wouldn’t accept it.” This is precisely what the Zionists have done in the past, notably after the 2000 Camp David Summit, during which they intentionally presented non-viable proposals in order to obtain a Palestinian rejection that would provide PR cover to go ahead with their 9/11 false flag, ruthlessly attempt to crush the Palestinian resistance, and trick the US into invading and destabilizing regional states that the Zionists consider enemies. All of this was in line with the Zionist strategy laid out in the 1996 Netanyahu-commissioned Clean Break document authored by neocons led by 9/11 suspect Richard Perle — roughly the same group that authored the September 2001 blueprint for 9/11 “Rebuilding America’s Defenses” that openly called for the coming “New Pearl Harbor.”

Since the Kushner-Greenblatt-Friedman “peace plan” is really a war plan, any geopolitical analysis of its ramifications must analyze the conflict(s) that will accelerate once the plan is officially rolled out and rejected. Those conflicts will presumably be continuations of the ongoing, long-standing conflicts in the region.

A map representing the creeping confiscation of the Holy Land by Zionist/imperialist/colonialist invaders and squatters over the last 100 years.

The Deal of the Century would basically take whatever is left of historic Palestine as well as the Golan Heights and hand it over to the Zionists, and the Palestinians would be “transferred” — in the same way they were forced to in 1947 — to neighboring Jordan (mostly), Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt. In return for capitulating to this deal, the Palestinians would get nothing (actually less than nothing because they would not only lose their land, but the right of return would just be a pipe dream), but the surrounding Arabian potentates (read that Jordan and Egypt) would get a commission in the form of having their foreign debt retired for selling the Holy Land and selling out the Palestinians.

Insofar as short- and medium-term impact is concerned, the Israeli government, dominated by ever-more-extreme right-wing hardliners, will intensify its program of confiscatory appropriation of land and ethnic cleansing. The Palestinians will be left with no choice but to continue their resistance, through peaceful demonstrations and rallies, the global BDS movement, and greater or lesser degrees of military resistance depending on their capabilities and strategic opportunities. The good news for Palestinians is that the shockingly insulting nature of Kushner’s Deal offers an opportunity to unify their ranks, ending or moderating the schism between the Palestinian Authority and the genuine resistance organizations including Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Ramzy Baroud suggests that newfound Palestinian unity around the rejection of Kushner’s “deal” could lead to reconciliation between Hamas and non-corrupt elements of Fatah, followed by the resurrection of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Baroud writes that “the steps taken by Washington to isolate the PA through denying Palestinians urgently needed funds, revoking the PLO’s diplomatic status in Washington and shunning the PA as a political ally provide the opportunity to open the necessary political dialogue that could finally accomplish a serious Fatah-Hamas reconciliation. Israel, too, by withholding tax money collected on behalf of the PA, has lost its last pressure card against Mahmoud Abbas and his government in Ramallah. At this point, there is little else that the US and Israel could do to exert more pressure on the Palestinians.”

The US-Zionist loss of leverage offers the Palestinians real opportunities. The late Alan Hart, a former BBC Mideast correspondent and back-channel peace negotiator, argued for several years before his death in January 2018 that the Palestinians’ best strategy would be “dissolving the impotent and corrupt PA and handing back to Israel full and complete responsibility and accountability for occupation.” Such a move, Hart wrote, “would not only impose significant financial, security, and other burdens on Israel, it would enable global discussion and debate about the conflict to be focused without distraction on the occupation and the need for it… to be ended.” This is essentially what Baroud is advocating in his recommendation that a unified PLO be revived. And now that the US is no longer bribing the PA to do Israel’s dirty work, such a scenario seems eminently feasible.

If the PA were dissolved, and Palestinians were to form a united resistance front, the resulting stand-off would cry out for arbitration — but not by the usual (American) suspects. All past “peace processes” have been abysmal failures for one overriding reason: Zionists dominate US media, finance, and politics, so Washington cannot be a reasonably neutral arbiter. Instead, it acts as an appendage of Zionism. Effective arbiters and negotiations-facilitators would have to represent entities that accept the broad international consensus as reflected in 70 years of UN resolutions. The United Nations General Assembly itself, or possibly a coalition of relatively independent nations, could be far more effective peace brokers than the Americans have ever been.

Along with unifying the Palestinians, Kushner’s “Fiasco of the Century” might also have the beneficial effect of unifying the relatively reasonable forces in the region in opposition to the plan, and in support of a newly united PLO presiding over the dissolution of the PA and demanding that the Zionists fulfill their obligations under international law. A broad coalition of nations in the Muslim East, led by the Axis of Resistance consisting of Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, but also extending to such non-Axis members as Turkey, Qatar, and indeed any other regional state that can afford to forego Saudi bribes, will line up against Kushner’s ludicrous Deal. In the end, the Saudis and their evil twins the Emiratis will be left holding their bag of bribes that nobody wants.

The failure of the Deal could accelerate a regional realignment that has been developing during the drawdown of the war on Syria. Turkey and Qatar, both of which had originally been enthusiastic participants in the war on Syria, have been forced to rethink their priorities and strategies due to the triumph of the Syrian anti-regime-change struggle. Both countries will undoubtedly join the Axis of Resistance in heaping scorn on the Deal and supporting Palestinian rejection of it. Egypt is something of a wild card. Though General ‘Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi was never an enthusiastic participant in the war on Syria, he has made many concessions to the Saudis and Zionists, and indeed has appeared as a Zionist puppet in many respects. But when he sees which way the wind is blowing, al-Sisi may be forced to distance himself from the Zionists and Saudis in the wake of the inevitable implosion of the Deal (together with Jordan and Morocco, Egypt had announced that it would go to Bahrain before the conference was postponed because of the political crisis in Israel over Netanyahu’s failure to cobble together a government).

Beneath the temporary alliances and re-alliances of geopolitics, there are important underlying material and ideological forces driving the long-term strategies of the oppressors and future liberators of Palestine. The first and most obvious is what Spengler aptly termed The Decline of the West. The past four centuries of Western post-Christian global dominance are ending, as demographic, economic, and technological changes shift the balance of global population and power to the south and east. In 2010 the US constituted a full 25% of global GDP. By 2050 that share is projected to fall below 10%. The EU will decline almost as much, from 23% to 12%. Similar declines will affect the rest of the Western world (Canada, Australia, New Zealand). The net result is that the West will decline from its 2010 status constituting well over half of the world economy, to a much more modest share of less than one-quarter of the global total.
Western decline is auspicious for Palestine, because Zionism is a purely Western project. It is the most extreme, audacious, and tenacious manifestation of Western imperialism and colonialism. So as the West declines in wealth, power, and influence, and the formerly colonized nations of the South and East rise to parity with their former masters, the Zionist project will inevitably approach its expiration date. The Zionists, of course, know this full well. They may be evil, arrogant, and shortsighted, but they are not stupid. So they are working to partner with such rising eastern (and non-Muslim) states as Russia, China, and India, and to promote Islamophobia in those and other countries in service to their fabricated “clash of civilizations” agenda (inciting global Islamophobia in service to Zionism was the long-term strategic purpose of the 9/11 false-flag operation). So the Zionists have long been planning for the difficult day when their American stooges stop propping them up. On that day, coalitions of other nations will become more important than the unipolar USA in brokering the conflict in Colonized Palestine. With the epochal failure of Kushner’s stillborn Deal, that day may arrive sooner rather than later.

The West’s ongoing decline is inseparable from a global ideological crisis consisting of the collapse of post-Christian humanism and its great narrative of universal liberation through material progress. Communism, the most radical branch of post-Christian humanism, imploded in 1989 with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Its replacement, neoliberalism, no longer commands much loyalty; its failures are evidenced by the accelerating gap between rich and poor, and by renewed interest in reactionary ideologies including various conservatisms, fascisms, and tribal petits récits. The only universalist ideology that seems poised to offer a viable alternative to post-Christian humanism is the religion of Islam, whose destiny is inseparable from the destiny of Palestine.

So the ideological lines are being drawn for the next, global phase of the struggle for Palestine. On one side, the side of truth and justice, are the universalists whose universal ethics (such as abstract truth and justice) apply equally to everyone everywhere. Some of these universalists still think of themselves as secular humanists. The great ex-Israeli, ex-Jewish musician and philosopher Gilad Atzmon offers a notable example of rigorous universalist humanism in action. But since hegemonic post-Christian secular humanism overall is in decline, while Islam is undergoing both a demographic expansion and an intellectual and spiritual awakening, a growing share of the principled anti-Zionist movement will be Islamic in orientation. This Islamic movement for the liberation of Palestine, exemplified by Imam Khomeini’s proclamation of Quds Day, will grow increasingly important.

From left, “honest brokers” Jason Greenblatt, Jared Kushner, and David Friedman receive the Friends of Zion Award from Dr. Mike Evans, right, founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center for their role in facilitating the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, 5-14-2018. After his recent meeting with MbS, Evans was gushing that the Gulf Arabian monarchs are more ardent supporters of Israel than most Jews — what he deemed surprising. Evans also indicated that MbS informed him he was raised by a house director (glorified maid employed by his father) who was an Ethiopian evangelical Jewess; and in response to being queried about what the Palestinians should do, he said, “copy Israel.”

The Zionists understand that what they are doing flies in the face of universal morality and ethics; it can only be justified by invoking doctrines of racial superiority, tribalism, and what Gilad Atzmon calls chosenness. They understand that anyone who espouses universal morality and ethics, and applies that perspective to Palestine, will eventually become an enemy of Zionism. So the Zionists have determined that at the end of the day, liberal humanists and Muslims — in other words, universalists — will generally be their enemies, whereas those who reject universal morality and ethics — meaning those tribalists and nationalists who act purely out of self-interest — can potentially be coopted into supporting Zionism. Acting on the basis of this understanding, the Zionists have taken the counterintuitive step of supporting movements that The Saker characterizes as “national Zionism,” even though many of these movements are neo-fascist and actually or potentially “anti-Semitic.”

Clearly the Zionists are planning ahead for the coming multipolar world. That world will be characterized by proliferating nationalisms, shifting coalitions of nations banding together temporarily based on self-interest rather than ideological affiliation, and a contest between universalist Islam and particularist nationalisms for the hearts and minds of global citizens, including those in the Muslim-majority countries. By demonizing Islam and holding it up as a scapegoat against which nationalistic Hindus, Chinese, Russians, Burmese, and of course Westerners can seek to unify their populations, the Zionists hope to keep their dagger plunged deep in the heart of the Muslim East.

The Muslim counter-strategy will have to perform a delicate balancing act between appealing to specifically Islamic unity on the one hand, and universal values on the other. The resolution of this apparent paradox is to recognize that Islam is the world’s final authentic divine revelation, making it the ultimate repository of universal values. As the false, pseudo-universalist values of Western secular materialist progressivist humanism recede, Islam will be poised to fill the void. But only a sophisticated understanding of Islam, as opposed to the rigid and obscurantist readings that some Islamic movements have embraced, will be capable of uniting a critical mass of humanity.

The biggest failing of Islamic movements and other modern liberation movements in the Muslim East has been their inability to forge effective alliances across communal and ideological boundaries. This problem has been most obvious among Salafis and other self-styled Sunni political movements including the Muslim Brotherhood. But the conflict bet-ween particular interpretations and practices and universalist Islamic aspirations has not been limited to particular groups; instead it has been ubiquitous throughout the Muslim-majority world.
If Makkah that houses the Ka‘bah, the first House of Allah on earth and the original qiblah of Islam, symbolizes Islam’s status as a particular and culminating din among other dins, Jerusalem al-Quds, the ancient qiblah, symbolizes universalist “islam with a lowercase i” and the universal submission to God it embodies. The Isra’ and Mi‘raj of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), culminated with the Prophet ascending from Jerusalem al-Quds into God’s presence by way of meetings with previous prophets including Moses and Jesus (Å). Islam’s universalist mission as a perfected din that must nonetheless protect and coexist with other faith communities, especially Christianity and Judaism, is still identified with the ancient qiblah, Jerusalem al-Quds. Ironically, that holy city is now colonized by arrogant usurpers who, believing themselves superior to others, have no interest in coexistence.

The Zionist colonization of Palestine is the product of the weaponized usury of the West’s dominant international banking cartel. Indeed, the Zionist entity was created by the Rothschild family and their associates (recall that the Balfour Declaration was addressed to Lord Rothschild, who brought the US into World War I to assure a British victory in exchange for Britain’s handing Palestine over to the usurers). The Qur’an, for its part, declares war on usurers (2:279). Indeed, usurers are the only sinners against whom God and His Messenger (pbuh) have literally declared war! Therefore, the struggle to liberate Palestine is not just on behalf of those who have been driven out of their homes unjustly for saying “Our Lord is Allah” (22:40). Palestine is also the epicenter of the global struggle against usury, and should be understood as such by Muslims and others who recognize the rottenness and injustice of the usury-based private fractional-reserve system of currency creation.

Those nations that have freed themselves from the Western-based international banking cartel are in a better position to forthrightly and effectively support the Palestinian resistance. And since Zionist power ultimately depends on the vast fortunes of the bankers, and the media outlets and politicians those bankers are able to bribe and buy, the defeat of the banking cartel will bring about the defeat of the Zionists.

Since Muslims are required by their din to abjure usury and to support God and His Messenger’s war on usurers, it would be reasonable to assume that all Muslim-majority countries would do their utmost to exit the sphere of influence of the international banking cartel and to develop non-usurious currency systems. It would also be reasonable to assume that this struggle could and should become the centerpiece of the movement for Islamic unity. After all, the history of the European Union has demonstrated that even a cluster of perpetually warring nations with different languages and religions can unite in a common market and adopt a common currency. The Islamic world, with its common religion, common use of Arabic among intellectuals with aspirations to religious education, and common cultural values, should certainly be able to unite into a common market with a common gold-backed public currency system.

This prospect of Islamic economic unity around non-usury commodity currency is the ultimate nightmare of the Zionist banking czars who dominate the Western “New World Order.” A pan-Islamic commodity currency would allow an economically-unified Islamic Ummah to radically improve its position in the terms-of-trade struggle over energy and other resources. It would eventually provide the Ummah with the economic, technological, and military strength to defeat Zionism and also protect oppressed Muslim minorities in other regions as well.Universal values of truth and justice, preserved and embodied in God’s final revelation to humanity, necessarily oppose the arrogance and cruelty of Zionism, and the mendacity and greed of the Zionist usurers. The implosion of the Zionists’ “Deal of the Century” will offer numerous opportunities to unite and empower people who love truth and justice, not only in Palestine and the rest of the Muslim East but throughout the world.
