TUNISIAN PARTY CONDEMNS RAFAH INVASION, URGES EGYPT TO MOBILIZE

The Tunisian Popular Front considers Egypt, both the people and government, responsible for bringing the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to an end and preventing a massacre in Rafah.

The Tunisian party, the Popular Front, condemned the Israeli aggression on Rafah, viewing it as a preparation for a wide-scale bloody invasion and "a continuation of the genocidal war and attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people to Egyptian Sinai."
In a statement released today, Monday, the party noted that this plan is supported and backed "by the imperialist savagery administration in the American house of bloody genocide."
It noted that bringing the Israeli aggression and the attack on Rafah to an end, is "primarily an Egyptian responsibility dictated by the necessities of defending Egypt's national security and the unity of its territories," calling on the Egyptian people and their national forces to "act to push the regime and force it into political escalation with the Zionist enemy, beginning with canceling the Camp David Accords and ending with military deterrence."
The Tunisian party called for "mobilization in front of the enemy's embassies" across countries that have signed normalization agreements. Moreover, the Popular Front urged people to mobilize "in front of the embassies of the aggression countries and against their interests in other countries." These actions, according to the party, must come in support of the Resistance of the Palestinian people, on the one hand, and in an effort to back the Egyptian people as they attempt to impose "deterrent options against the Zionist enemy," on the other.

TUNISIANS CALL FOR US AMBASSADORS EXPULSION IN SUPPORT OF GAZA
Popular mobilization in Tunisia continues as the people show support for Gaza and the Resistance and denounce the Israeli occupation's crimes.
The Popular Front organized a sit-in in mid-January in front of the US Embassy in the capital Tunis, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the continuous American support it's been receiving.
From the sit-in square, the spokesperson for the Popular Front in Tunisia, Mohsen al-Nabati, affirmed to Al Mayadeen, "We are facing a major battle regionally and internationally to liberate all of humanity from this clique that has ruled the world for decades, dominated humanity, and seized its resources."  Al-Nabati emphasized that it is required of all Arabs, Muslims, and the oppressed to participate in this opportunity for "final emancipation from Western domination."
Tunisia union chief slams normalization, declares Gaza support 'duty'
The head of Tunisian General Labor Union condemns the stance of the Arab League on the Israeli war on Gaza and calls it "shameful".
The General Secretary of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), Noureddine Taboubi, affirmed on Saturday the need to continue the international solidarity campaign in support of the Palestinian people and condemnation of the Israeli brutal aggression on Gaza.
Taboubi, on the 78th anniversary of the founding of the union - which now has around 1 million members - under the slogan "Committee in support of Palestinian Resistance," stated that the war on Gaza aims to eliminate the Resistance and the steadfast Palestinian cause, and to promote normalization with the Israeli enemy.
In his address, the union leader condemned the shameful stance of the Arab League and the complicity of some Arab governments with the occupation entity, further condemning the aggression of some Western countries against Yemen and the laws they introduced to obstruct solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Tunisia rises in support for Palestine
Taboubi extended his respect and appreciation to South Africa, which initiated legal action at the International Court of Justice ICJ to condemn the Israeli entity for genocide. Since day one of the Israeli war on Gaza, Tunisians organized angry protests against the occupation and expressed unwavering solidarity and support for Palestine and the people of Gaza. Demonstrators have even called for the expulsion of the US ambassador due to Washington's role in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Algeria, Tunisia refuse to participate in 'Cairo Peace Summit'
Algiers and Tunis will not take part in the summit due to the presence of representatives from the Israeli occupation entity.

Amid the savage and brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza, Algeria refrained from participating in the "Cairo Peace Summit," which is expected to focus on ways to de-escalate the situation in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune had received an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to participate in the summit scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Cairo to discuss developments in the Palestinian cause and the "peace process". However, according to Algerian media, Algiers decided not to attend this summit.

Similarly, Tunisia has also decided not to take part in the summit in Cairo, according to Tunisian radio station Mozaique.

Earlier, the Secretary-General of the People's Movement in Tunisia, Zouhair al-Maghzaoui, confirmed that the Tunisian Parliament will approve in the next few weeks a draft law criminalizing normalization with the Israeli occupation.

We requested the expedited approval of the draft law to criminalize normalization with the Zionist enemy," emphasizing that "this battle is different from all previous battles, and this momentum should not be like previous ones," al-Maghzaoui told Al Mayadeen.
He affirmed that anyone who wants to stand with the Palestinian people must support the resistance, arm it, provide financial assistance, and open the borders to the masses "because this is a time of jihad, not a time for summits. Either the resistance will prevail and liberate Palestine, or the enemy will prevail and advance into all Arab countries."
