IRAN BALLISTIC MISSILE TECHNOLOGY CHANGED BALANCE OF POWER : IRGC
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/06/1...RGC-Salami

The chief commander of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the country managed to change the balance of power in its favor by harnessing the technology required for manufacturing ballistic missiles. Major General Hossein Salami, who was delivering an address at the Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran on Tuesday, said the Islamic Republic acquired the knowhow 12 years ago while trying to prepare its defenses against the United States’ aircraft carriers.

“This had to be done using ballistic missiles since cruise missiles were vulnerable due to their speed and their trajectory being close to the ground,” Salami said. “Ballistic missiles, however, hit their target at a speed, which is several times the speed of sound, and are difficult to be targeted with anti-missile missiles.”

The US has ratcheted up pressure on Iran since last year after withdrawing from a 2015 nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic and other countries. Since then, the administration of US President Donald Trump is trying to reduce Iran’s oil exports to “zero,” and has sent an aircraft carrier strike group, a bomber taskforce, an amphibious assault ship, a guided-missile destroyer and some 1,500 additional forces to the region.

Iranian officials have dismissed such moves as psychological warfare, saying the country has its own ways of confronting the American animosity. Tehran has also warned Washington against escalating the tensions, and noted that the region cannot withstand another conflict.

On Monday, though, acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan said Washington had approved deployment of still some 1,000 more forces to the Middle East for, what he called, “defensive purposes.”
Nevertheless, the IRGC chief commander said, “The pressure, which you are witnessing [being exerted] is the maximum, which the enemy can apply.”  “They have weakened,” he said, adding, “Our enemy is being struck hollow [from within] and America’s era is ending.”

IRAN UNVEILS NEW INDIGENOUS AIR DEFENSE SYSTEM
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/06/09/598080/Iran-air-defense-system-Khordad-15

Iran has unveiled a domestically-designed and -manufactured air defense system capable of simultaneously destroying six incoming hostile targets. The system, dubbed Khordad 15, was inaugurated in the presence of Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami, IRNA reported on Sunday. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Hatami said the system was capable of detecting fighter jets and combat drones from 150 kilometers away and of tracking them within a range of 120 kilometers.  The system, he added, can also detect stealth targets at a distance of 85 kilometers and engage and destroy them within a range of 45 kilometers. He also said the Khordad 15 air defense system used Sayyad 3 missiles and was capable of simultaneously detecting, intercepting, and shooting down six targets, adding that it could be readied to engage hostile targets in less than five minutes.

The minister also noted that the Islamic Republic was developing systems to counter missiles and other aerial threats given the presence of extra-regional forces at bases in countries around Iran. Iran has recently made major breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing military equipment and hardware despite facing sanctions and Western economic pressure.  The Islamic Republic says its military power is solely for defensive purposes and does not pose any threat to other countries.

THE TRUMP REGIME AND USA ARROGANCE ON DICTATING WHAT A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY CAN OR CAN'T PURCHASE WITH IT'S OWN MONEY IS NOT ONLY A GROSS VIOLATION OF TURKEY'S DEFENCE AND FOREIGN POLICY BUT SOVEREIGNTY. THIS CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS THE NEED TO UNCOVER THE POLITICS OF HOW THE US MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX COERCES NATIONS TO BOLSTER AND UNDERWRITE ITS WAR ECONOMY. SUFFICE TO STATE THAT IF THE USA BELIEVES THAT THIS IS A RED LINE WHICH HAS BEEN CROSSED BY TURKEY'S PURCHASE OF THIS ANTI-AIRCRAFT MISSILE TECHNOLOGY UNDERMINING NATO DEFENCE AND THE NATO ALLIANCE.

IT LOOKS AS THOUGH A PARTING OF WAYS HAS ARRIVED AND TURKEY NEEDS TO JOIN TO CREATE A NEW DEFENCE AND MILITARY ALLIANCE WHICH SECURES IT'S INTERESTS. FROM AN ISLAMIC MILITARY PERSPECTIVE THIS IS GOOD NEWS AS IT IS LONG OVERDUE AS TURKEY AND MUSLIM NATIONS MUST NOT DEPEND ON OTHERS FOR THEIR DEFENCE. THE LEGACY OF ATATURK AND KEMALISM NEEDS TO BE DISCARDED.

ANKARA SLAMS US HOUSE RESOLUTION ON TURKEY
https://www.trtworld.com/turkey/ankara-s...rkey-27388

The resolution criticised Turkey's procurement of Russian S-400 missile defence systems and expressed concerns over the two countries ties.  The US House of Representatives agreed on Monday on a resolution criticising Turkey's procurement of Russian S-400 missile defence systems and expressed concern over the Ankara and Washington alliance.

The House resolution entitled "Expressing concern for the United States-Turkey alliance" underlining concerns about Ankara's foreign policy and the country's judicial system is not acceptable, Turkey's foreign ministry said in a statement. "[The resolution] does not fit the deep-rooted alliance and friendship between the US and Turkey," the ministry spokesperson Sami Aksoy said.

US Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel, on Monday, discussed the resolution and underscored the importance of the US-Turkey bilateral relationship, but also warned of the consequences if Turkey pursues the purchase of S-400 anti-aircraft missiles from the Russian Federation. The Turkish Foreign Ministry underlined the importance of resorting to "dialogue" and showing "respect" in order to resolve a difference of opinion between allies. "Instead [of seeking dialogue], taking non-binding decisions that don't serve of building mutual trust, the language of threats and sanctions and the deadlines are not acceptable," the statement said.

The United States and Turkey have been at loggerheads for several years due to Washington's Middle East policy. But due to Ankara's planned purchase of Russia's S-400 missile systems, which Washington says are incompatible with the NATO defence network and would pose a threat to Lockheed Martin's F-35 stealth fighter jets which Turkey also plans to buy, the relations between the two NATO allies have been at a historic low. The US has said that the F-35 jets will not be provided to Turkey unless it cancels the Russian purchase.  US officials said on Monday the training of Turkish pilots on F-35 fighter jets had come to a faster-than-expected halt at an air base in Arizona, as Ankara's involvement was wound down over the S-400 purchase.  Turkey has said it would consider alternatives to the Russian system if an appropriate offer was made. However, Ankara has pointed out, the US has not done so as yet.

ERDOGAN: NO STEP BACK FROM S-400 DEAL WITH RUSSIA
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/06/e...57003.html
Turkish president says US offer to sell Patriot missiles to Ankara is not as good as Russia's S-400 offer

Ties between Turkey and the US have been strained over the decision to buy the S-400 missile system

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country would not step back from an S-400 missile deal with Russia - again defying US threats. Last week, a top Pentagon official said the consequences would be "devastating" for Turkey's joint F-35 fighter programme and its cooperation with NATO if the country went ahead with plans to buy the Russian anti-aircraft weapon system.

"There is an agreement. We have determination. It is out of the question to take a step back from it," Erdogan told reporters in Istanbul on Tuesday. He also said an offer from the United States to sell Patriot missiles to Turkey was not as good as the Russian offer. Ties between the NATO allies have been strained over Ankara's decision to buy the S-400 missile system, which Washington says could compromise its F-35 fighter jets that Ankara is also set to buy.

US officials urged Turkey to buy Patriot missiles rather than the S-400 from Moscow, arguing it is incompatible with NATO weapons systems. Ankara responded saying it was the US refusal to sell Patriots to Turkey that led it to seek other vendors, adding Russia offered a better deal, including technology transfers.

Punish the purchase
Kathryn Wheelbarger, acting US assistant secretary of defence for international security affairs, said the planned S-400 purchase would damage Turkey's ability to work with NATO. She said the US administration, even if it does not want to punish Turkey for the purchase, could be forced to do so by a Congress unsympathetic to Ankara.

Turkey has suggested the two countries form a working group to assess the potential effect of the S-400s on F-35 aircraft, which was reportedly accepted by Washington. Turkey plans to buy 100 US F-35s and some Turkish pilots have already started training with counterparts in the United States. Erdogan said on Tuesday he told Washington that Ankara would take steps to buy the Patriots only if its conditions of delivery were as positive as Russia's. "But unfortunately we haven't received a positive proposal from the American side on the subject of Patriots like the S400s from Russia," he said.

Economic threats
The US has threatened to impose sanctions on Turkey if it goes through with the purchase of the Russian missile system, a move that would further damage Turkey's economy. Turkey's currency the lira has declined about 14 percent this year in part because of concerns over the potential US sanctions.Erdogan and US President Donald Trump are expected to meet on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, at the end of June.  In addition to the issue of the S-400, Turkish-US ties are already under strain over American support for a Syrian Kurdish militia in Syria - viewed as "terrorists" by Ankara.

RUSSIA CONDEMNS US ULTIMATUM TO TURKEY OVER S-400 MISSILE DEAL
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/05/r...53344.html

Moscow denounces reported US sanctions threat towards Ankara over its intention to buy Russia's missile defence system.

Russia has condemned an alleged US ultimatum to Turkey designed to force it to cancel a deal to buy Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile systems and purchase American Patriot batteries instead, calling it "unacceptable".

Moscow on Wednesday was responding to a report by CNBC that said Washington had given Turkey two weeks to scrap the Russian arms deal and do one with the United States instead or risk severe penalties. Turkey's push to buy the S-400s has further strained the already tense relations with the US, which has repeatedly warned Ankara of the risks, including sanctions, if it goes ahead with the purchase.

Turkey and the US have been at odds on several fronts, including Ankara's decision to buy the S-400s, which cannot be integrated into NATO systems. Washington says the Russian deal, if it goes ahead, would jeopardise Turkey's role in building and buying Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jets.

'Unacceptable'

"We regard this extremely negatively," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when asked about the CNBC report by reporters.
"We consider such ultimatums to be unacceptable and we are going on the many statements made by representatives of Turkey's leadership - headed by President [Recep Tayyip] Erdogan - that the S-400 deal is already complete and will be implemented."

Turkey's defence minister said earlier on Wednesday that Ankara was preparing for potential US sanctions over its purchase of the Russian missile system, even though he said there was some improvement in talks with Washington over proposals to manufacture and purchase the American F-35 fighter jets. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday said the S-400 deal with Russia was done and wouldn't change.

"There is absolutely no question of [Turkey] taking a step back from the S-400 purchase. That is a done deal," Erdogan said. He also said Turkey and Russia would jointly produce S-500 defence systems after Ankara's controversial purchase of the S-400s from Moscow.

F-35 JET PROGRAMME DOOMED TO FAILURE IF TURKEY EXCLUDED ' – ERDOGAN

https://www.trtworld.com/turkey/f-35-jet-programme-doomed-to-failure-if-turkey-excluded-erdogan-26284

Tensions between US and Turkey have worsened in recent months with Turkey set to begin receiving the S-400 Russian surface-to-air missile system, which the US says will jeopardise Ankara's role in the F-35 fighter jet programme.

President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan speaks during the 14th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF'19) at Tuyap Fair and Exhibition Center, in Istanbul, Turkey on April 30, 2019. (AA)

The US' F-35 fighter jet programme is "doomed to complete failure" if Turkey's contributions are excluded, Turkey's president warned on Tuesday. "Turkey did not and will not accept any impositions in the defence realm, just as in the areas of politics, diplomacy and the economy," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told the 14th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF'19) in Istanbul. He decried attempted "impositions" concerning the F-35s, referring to the US threats to cancel the sale over Turkey buying Russian S-400 missile defence. "We think that those who try to exclude us on an issue where we are a project and production partner can’t see beyond the end of this. "I am saying explicitly that the F-35 project is doomed to complete failure if Turkey is excluded," Erdogan said.

US-Turkey tension
Tensions between the US and Turkey have worsened in recent months with Turkey set to begin receiving the advanced S-400 Russian surface-to-air missile system, which Washington says will jeopardise Turkey's role in the F-35 fighter jet programme and could trigger congressional sanctions. Erdogan also said Turkey has reduced its foreign defence industry dependence from 80 percent to 30 percent and it now exports defence industry products. He added that the country is also making advances in unmanned aircraft worldwide.

RUSSIAN S-400 SYSTEMS TO ARRIVE IN JULY
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/06/1...dogan-July

Turkey’s president says advanced Russian S-400 missile defense systems will begin arriving in the country in July, despite threats by the United States over the defense exchange.

“I think they will start to come in the first half of July,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Turkey’s NTV broadcaster on his way back from a multi-national security summit in Tajikistan. “We discussed the S-400 subject with Russia. Indeed, the S-400 issue is settled.”

Turkey and Russia finalized an agreement on the delivery of the S-400s in December 2017, two years after the US decided to withdraw its Patriot surface-to-air missile system from the Turkish border with Syria. Ever since, Washington has been warning Ankara against going ahead with the purchase, including by threatening to remove it from a multilateral program aimed at manufacturing the US’s F-35 warplanes.  Several Turkish industrial giants are partaking in the program, and Turkish pilots have trained in the US to fly the aircraft. Recently, however, the US stopped training the pilots over Ankara’s refusal to halt the purchases.

On Monday, the US House of Representatives passed a non-binding resolution that urges Turkey to reverse its decision to buy the S-400s and that calls for sanctions if Turkish officials continue with the acquisition. Turkey’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the measure as “unacceptably threatening.”  Washington and some other NATO members allege that the Russian systems are “incompatible” with the rest of the equipment used by the members of the alliance, including Turkey. Ankara says they are not.

HOW TURKEY BECAME A STRONG NAVAL POWER IN RECENT YEARS

Turkey made a big investment in improving its naval defences in the last decade, increasing the number of warships and military vessels and relying on homegrown technology. Turkey, a country between Europe and Asia, bordering three seas on its northern, western and southern flanks, has made a lot of efforts in recent years to advance its Navy to a level where it could compete with world powers.

In recent years, Ankara has not only increased its number of vessels and warships, protecting its coasts and sailing in international waters, but also made self-sufficiency a priority to upgrade its naval force, relying on its own native sources to decrease dependency on outside powers. “Although lawmakers have long nurtured a desire to make Turkey less dependent upon foreign weaponry and technology, [Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan’s government has dramatically increased defence spending and has worked diligently to promote state cooperation with native defence contractors,” wrote Ryan Gingeras, a professor in the Department of National Security Affairs at the Naval Postgraduate School, and an expert on Turkish, Balkan, and Middle East history.

Since 2007, Turkey’s spending on research and development has significantly increased, tripling its previous levels, according to a survey conducted by a leading defence industry group. Last year, it passed $1.2 billion, the survey showed. The Turkish Navy has had 112 military vessels until now, but Ankara plans to add a total of 24 new ships, which include four frigates, before the Republic reaches the 100th anniversary of its founding in 2023.

Turkey’s star: TCG Anadolu

Among them, TCG Anadolu occupies a special place because the warship is Turkey’s first light aircraft carrier, enabling the country to join the club of aircraft carriers. But Anadolu, which is scheduled to join the Turkish Navy’s active operations this year, means more than that for Turkey.  Anadolu is “the largest Turkish warship since TCG Yavuz, a former German battlecruiser transferred in dramatic fashion in 1914,” wrote Richard Parley, an American military writer and lecturer, in February.

“Anadolu will offer the Turkish Navy unprecedented amphibious assault capability in the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean,” Parley estimated.

Turkish officials visit to see the construction of TCG Anadolu, Turkey's first aircraft carrier built by a native company, in Istanbul's Tuzla port in November 2019. (AA)

The warship, which is being built by a joint consortium including Spanish firm Navantia and a native company, Sedef Shipbuilding Inc, in Turkey, shows the country’s ambition to be a dominant force in the Mediterranean Sea like the Ottoman Empire, the country’s predecessor state, had been in the 16th Century.  “History shows us that the country that possesses naval power is always destined to be supreme. And the country that does not have naval power is weakened. We needed this power yesterday and we need it today, and we will need it tomorrow," said Hulusi Akar, Turkey’s defence minister, in September during the landing ceremony of TCG Kinaliada, which is produced under the country’s national programme.

In undated picture, Turkey's TCG Kinaliada, which is built under the country's national programme, sails in Turkish waters. (AA)  At its full capacity, Anadolu will be able to displace 27,000 tons, with a length of 231 metres with a width of 32 metres, and can also reach speeds of 21 knots, which nearly equals to 39 kilometres per hour.  The formidable warship can also carry four mechanised, two air-cushioned and two military personnel landing vehicles along with helicopters and drones.  “Turkey’s plans to build and deploy the carrier Anadolu is but one indication of Ankara’s overall push to develop and expand its national defence industry,” Gingeras noted.

Why Turkey invests much in naval forces

Turkey wants to compete with its Mediterranean neighbours on equal terms to claim its marine rights in the region by improving its naval capabilities, which are also crucial to secure the country’s vital economic interests.  “With more than 87 percent of the country’s trade conducted via maritime ports of entry, and a number of transnational pipelines passing through Turkish territorial waters, the country’s naval capabilities have come to figure more prominently in contemporary Turkish thinking,” Gingeras wrote

As a result, Turkey has recently bought two exploration ships, Fatih and Yavuz, to compete with regional rivals and enhance its offshore technology in the field of gas and other marine exploration efforts in East Mediterranean, where rich gas reserves have been recently discovered.  “A desire to stake a claim to natural gas deposits off the coast of Cyprus has especially stirred the attention of policymakers in Ankara. The commencement of Turkish drilling operations, as well as rumoured plans for the building of a new Turkish naval base in northern Cyprus, are among the most recent signs that planners intend to project greater influence over the eastern Mediterranean,” Gingeras viewed.

Ankara recently signed a critical maritime agreement with Libya’s UN-recognised Government of National accord (GNA), signalling Mediterranean powers that without Turkey’s participation or approval, no gas routes could be truly secured.

In addition to its economic interests, Turkey also seeks to have a powerful naval presence in its three seas, which it calls as “Blue Homeland”, to ensure its national security.

A Turkish assault boat is pictured during Turkey's Blue Homeland exercises in March 2019. (AA)

In March, Ankara showed the world its sincerity about building a powerful native naval force, conducting the country’s biggest maritime exercises simultaneously with more than 100 military vessels in its three seas. The exercises are also named after “Blue Homeland”.  Beyond the Mediterranean and its other national waters, Turkey has also expanded its naval presence by deploying its forces to faraway countries, from Somalia to Sudan and Qatar, accessing areas from the Indian Ocean to the Red Sea and the Gulf.

THE EVENTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE DOWNING OF THE LATEST USA DRONE IS DISTURBING. WHILST IRAN HAS MADE CLEAR THAT ANY VIOLATION OF ITS AIRSPACE IS ITS RED LINE. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE DAJJAL WAR MACHINE INSTIGATED BY VIOLATING IRAN'S AIRSPACE. IRAN'S MASTERY IN HACKING AND REVERSE ENGINEERING OF USA DRONE TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINS ITS CAPABILITY OF DOWNING THE USA RQ 4A GLOBAL HAWK DRONE. THIS HAS ALSO LED TO USA FORCES MORALE PLUMMETING.

IRAN HAS OTHER UNDERGROUND MISSILE TECHNOLOGY AT ITS DISPOSAL IN ITS ARSENAL TARGETTING ALL USA MILITARY TARGETS IN THE GULF IF THE USA MAKES THE BIG MISTAKE TO ATTACK IRAN. TRUMP ALLEGES WHEN THE USAF WERE MINUTES AWAY FROM ATTACKING IRANIAN TARGETS HE ORDERED A STAND DOWN DUE TO THE DISPROPORTIONATE LOSS OF 150 IRANIAN LIVES FOR THE DOWNING OF AN UNMANNED USA DRONE.

THE YANKS LIKE TO TALK ABOUT DEALS OF THE CENTURY AND THIS MUST BE THE JOKE OF THE CENTURY. A ROGUE SUPERPOWER WHICH HAS BEEN ENGAGED IN BRUTAL UNWARRANTED WARS OF GENOCIDE FROM IT'S ORIGINS TO THE CURRENT WARS OF CONQUEST HAS THE BLOOD OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ON IT'S HANDS. THIS HAS NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN AND IT WILL PAY THE PRICE FOR THIS.  IT'S CONCERN FOR LOSS OF HUMAN LIFE IS A TOTAL AND UTTER DECEIT AND SHAM. WHAT LED TO THE ABORTED ATTACK BY THE USA ARMADA WAS MOSSAD AND ISRAELI INTELLIGENCE INFORMING HIM THAT THERE WOULD BE A MISSILE BARRAGE FROM HIZBULLAH INTO TEL AVIV AND ISRAEL DIRECTLY AND AUTOMATICALLY. ALSO RUSSIA HAS SUPPORTED AND BACKED IRAN BY WARNING THE USA OF MISADVENTURE.

NOT ONLY DOES THIS SHOW BRINKMANSHIP BUT HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO TRIGGERING WW3. INDEED WE WERE 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM TRIGGERING OFF WW3.  IT IS TIME FOR THE USA PEOPLE AND POLITICAL SYSTEM TO STOP THE MADNESS OF THE TRUMP WARMONGERING CABAL AND ITS SABRE RATTLING.  THIS IS NOT SYRIA OR IRAQ. THIS IS A GEOPOLITICAL FAULTLINE AND  EXPLOSIVE POWDER KEG WHICH WILL AFFECT NOT ONLY THE REGION BUT THE ENTIRE WORLD. IRAN IS BEING THREATENED BY THE USA ECONOMICALLY AND MILITARILY WITH SANCTIONS AGAINST ITS ECONOMY AND NUCLEAR MISSILES. IF ATTACKED IT WILL RESORT TO BLOCKING THE GULF AND STOP THE WORLD'S OIL SUPPLY.THIS WILL LEAD TO GLOBAL ECONOMIC INSTABILITY.
ALSO THIS USA MOVE COINCIDES WITH THE UN ACCUSING MBS FOR KHASHOGGI'S ASSASSINATION.

SO THERE IS BLACKMAIL TAKING PLACE TO CORNER MBS AND SAUDI ARABIA TO TRIGGER A WAR AGAINST IRAN WHICH IN TURN WILL IGNITE A SHIA-SUNNI WAR AND PULL IN OTHER POWERS. THIS WILL PAVE THE WAY FOR A ZIONIST BLITZKRIEG AND GREATER ISRAEL.

HOW WONDERFULLY EVIL. ALSO THIS COINCIDES WITH THE USA OFFICIALLY DECLARING DEFEAT IN AFGHANISTAN WITH THE TALIBAN ON JUNE 19 2019 WHICH MUST BE SCRIPTED IN THE ANNALS OF WORLD HISTORY. IN OTHER WORDS AS IT WITHDRAWS FROM ONE FRONT AND SPHERE IT WANTS TO OPEN UP A BIGGER FRONT. THE PROBLEM THE WORLD HAS IS A ROGUE SUPERPOWER AND JINGOISTIC LEADER WHICH NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO ORDER AND THE AMERICANS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO KICK OUT THIS WW3 WAR SCUM OR BE HELD TO ACCOUNT FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS NEXT.

THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE RAPPROACHMENT BETWEEN RUSSIA AND PAKISTAN WILL BE REVIEWED IN THE CONTEXT OF SHIFTING ALLIANCES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE FORTHCOMING WW3. IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE EVENTS OF THE FAILED MILITARY COUP OF JULY 15 2016 AND ARRIVAL OF RUSSIAN AIR DEFENCE WEOPONS IN JULY 2019?

THIS QUESTION NEEDS FURTHER ANALYSIS AS THESE ACTIONS BEAR WITNESS TO A DE FACTO DEPARTURE OF TURKEY FROM NATO AND WILL LEAD TO A CRISIS IN NATO WITH UNEXPECTED CONSEQUENCES. IT TAKES ON GREATER SIGNIFICANCE AS  TURKEY IS THE SECOND LARGEST MILITARY IN NATO AND IS IN A VERY SENSITIVE GEOPOLITICAL LOCATION. FROM A GLOBAL ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE THIS IS LONG OVER DUE AS TURKEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE JOINED NATO IN THE FIRST PLACE AND IS THE NATURAL LEADER OF THE COMING UNITED STATES OF ISLAM ARMY WHICH IS IN THE MAKING IN THE REGION.  THE REAL STORY OF TECTONIC GEOPOLITICAL SHIFTS WILL BE REVEALED SOON.

COAS Gen Qamar inspects a locally-manufactured gun during a two-day national seminar titled “Defence Production - Security through Self Reliance”, held at Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi. SCREENGRAB

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday stressed upon the need for enhanced public-private partnership to turn Pakistan defence industry into a vibrant, self-reliant and self-sustained entity.

Addressing a two-day national seminar titled “Defence Production – Security through Self Reliance”, held at Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi on July 18-19, he said that apart from public sector and defence production organisations, there is a dire need for a fully integrated private sector in the country’s defence industry.

The army chief thanked participants for giving time to an important issue concerning national security, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). “There is a need to amplify indigenisation through fully integrated public and private organisations in defence production for meaningful progression in defence of the country,” the COAS was quoted by the military’s media wing as saying.

The seminar was aimed at paving way for self-reliance by exploring indigenous defence production potential, identifying organisational and institutional challenges of defence industry, pragmatic solutions to optimise defence production and recommending policy level measures to have fully immersed private sector in defence production.

Members from different ministries, public and private organisations, chamber of commerce and industries, defence production establishments and members from academia attended the seminar.
Representatives from public sector discussed and suggested way forward for public private partnership in defence production.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Defence Production Zobaida Jalal and Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudry shared their views and suggestions for development of Pakistan defence industry into a prolific entity. Representatives from private sectors shared a roadmap for enhancing public-private partnership in the defence production. PM’s adviser on commerce Abdul Razak Dawood enlightened the participants on importance of independent defence industry for national security.

The two-day-long seminar concluded with policy level recommendations for the government. Major recommendations included establishment of a task force under Prime Minister Imran Khan for a roadmap to facilitating indigenous defence production, establishing raw material industry, incorporating private sector for raw material base so as to optimally utilise public sector capacity for indigenous defence production, surplus defence potential for export, establishing “Digital Parks” to tap software industry potential and promoting research and development in universities.

MOLE HUNT: STORY OF BUSTING CIA's 'HOUSE OF CARDS'
https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/07/22/601599/Mole-hunt-CIA-Iran-Boltan-Alavi

The recent identification and destruction by Iran’s Intelligence Ministry of an integrated network of operatives serving the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) inside the country has proven that despite the inflated image that the West, especially the Hollywood, want to project of the CIA, Iran's intelligence operatives have always had the upper hand in covert and overt confrontations with their American counterparts and inflicted humiliating defeats on them. Perhaps, it is hard to find a person who has not heard of the Central Intelligence Agency; a person with no image of the agency in their mind; an image, created, or at least influenced by Hollywood movies; with superheroes whose extraordinary abilities can thrill the audience. Yet, what the silver screen shows of the CIA is an exaggerated image of an agency that has humiliating defeats in its track record.

Back in 2013, hundreds of CIA officers scrambled to contain a disaster of global proportions: it was a deadly blow to the agency’s internet-based covert communications system used to interact with its informants around the world. The news was buried for over five years until Yahoo News released a lengthy report in November 2018 based on conversations with 11 former US intelligence and government officials directly familiar with the matter. Multiple former intelligence officials, on condition of anonymity, said that the damage was serious — even catastrophic — and will persist for years. But the main issue was the source of this devastating blow to the most famous intelligence agency in the world.

PressTV-Iran details destroying CIA spy network in world first
Iran’s Intelligence Ministry details how it recently delivered an unprecedented destructive blow to a CIA spy network.

At that time, Iranian intelligence officials who had smelled a rat put the mole hunt top on the agenda. In an intense battle, they managed to identify and arrest a number of CIA spies inside the country. The Americans themselves have described it as an “intelligence scandal” and their activity platform as the “house of cards.”  But what gave the Americans a bigger shock was a change in Tehran’s counterintelligence approach. Having been constantly faced with the CIA's intelligence operations, Iranian intelligence officials came to the conclusion that the best defense strategy is to go on the offense. So, Iranian counter-intelligence experts embarked on tracing CIA spies overseas. Tehran shared with friendly countries a list of CIA spies it had identified across the world. And death was the fate of many of them. Through interaction with its intelligence allies, Iran managed to set up a global network against CIA moles across the world. The CIA was crumbling like a house of cards. As new hawks like John Bolton and Mike Pompeo came to the White House, the CIA was commissioned once more to gather intelligence on vital centers in Iran as well as recruit new intelligence operative inside the country. After the 2013 intelligence scandal, the recruitment process began slowly and with utmost care. And it continued for five years until 2018. The CIA agents began their mission under the cover of fake companies and through direct contacts with Iranian citizens.

PressTV-Iran threat exaggerated by GOP hawks: Rep. Gallego
Rep. Ruben Gallego says GOP hawks have manipulated intelligence to exaggerate what Washington describes as Iran threats to US interests.

The bait was the US visa, money, ideal life abroad and the like. Some, for a few dollars more, decided to give more information to the enemy; a decision that cost them their lives. The new battle was even more difficult to fight than the previous ones. In order to avoid another embarrassing defeat, the CIA provided the moles with high-level training programs, among them the methods to collect intelligence, to access to top-secret documents and to act under interrogation. For what John Bolton and his ilk called “a regime change in Tehran,” Washington needed reliable information on Iran’s defense and nuclear programs as well as its economy and infrastructure. Likewise, in order to provoke public outrage, the White House imposed strict sanctions on Iran; but like all other types of war, sanctions require intelligence on way the country works; on its lifelines. That said, a cursory look at the cases of the arrested spies shows the range of their activities is much wider than one can expect.

The CIA’s new network in Iran was equipped with highly secure communication platforms. The spies would receive espionage equipment through a method known as “Drop and Pick-up.” The bitter experience the CIA had in 2013 made the agency develop an emergency exit line for its operatives. The CIA had already lost more than enough moles. While American warships were heading toward the Persian Gulf and political observers began to sound the alarm of a military war between the United States and Iran, months before an undeclared war was going on; a war, on the one side, the enemy was after invaluable information on the country’s vital sectors; and on the other side, the Iranian intelligence community had devoted itself on defending it. In the end, Iran’s counterintelligence measures made the CIA’s all-out war hit rock bottom. Among the measures were monitoring CIA officers abroad and hiring infiltrators inside the CIA itself.

PressTV-US sends carrier, bomber to Mideast amid rising tensions
The US says it is deploying an aircraft carrier strike group and a bomber task force to the Middle East in a "clear and unmistakable" message to Iran.

Prior to and amid the US-Iran escalation, when the Americans needed intelligence on Iran more than ever, the Iranian intelligence community hammered another nail into the coffin of the CIA. The offensive counterintelligence strategy had worked. The CIA has been described as the sharp eyes of the US government, without which the White House cannot take the right path in the international arena. Perhaps, US President Donald Trump’s wrong and sometimes bizarre decisions on Iran stem from his lack of access to reliable intelligence.  Those who betrayed their country will soon be brought to trial. And justice will be served.
Hollywood has created a legendary image of the CIA on the silver screen. But on the ground, endless schemes on behalf of the US have turned Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence into a great power in the realm of counterintelligence; a power manifested itself in the country’s sustainable peace and security.  Commenting on the most recent operation, Iran’s Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi said in an exclusive interview with Press TV that the country’s agencies had successfully dismantled CIA spy networks inside the country and beyond borders in recent years. “Iran’s Intelligence Ministry, in different times, in different arenas and in different platforms has delivered decisive blows to the US intelligence service; the heaviest blows were delivered by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in 2013 to the US foreign intelligence service beyond Iran’s borders on its cyber platform,” he said. The comments come as Iran’s top security official announced the security operation on Sunday. On Monday, however, IRNA cited the Ministry’s director-general for counterintelligence as recounting the operation in detail.

PressTV-'Iran dealt heavy blow to US spy agency'
A political analyst believes the Iranian Intelligence ministry has dealt a heavy blow to the CIA by hunting down its agents in Iran.

The operation saw Iranian intelligence experts infiltrating the channels used by the CIA across the Internet for safe communication with its spies, the official noted, adding that the agency would use the cover of apparently-irrelevant websites in order to enable the communication. The intelligence command enabled the Ministry to identify all the websites and the agents linked to them, according to the official. The agents, each of whom were assigned a specifically-designated website and communication channel, would act against the interests of the countries, where they were operating in, including the Islamic Republic, the official noted, and referred to the exposed agents as “professional and special sources” for the CIA. Once harvesting the information, Iran entrusted it with the countries with which it shares intelligence, according to the official, who said this interaction led to entrapment of more operatives elsewhere in the world. Alavi went on to say that the ministry had centered the offensive counterintelligence phase to foil the US plots and conspiracies against the country.

“It is common among intelligence services to act defensively when it comes to counterintelligence. It means if a person -- whether citizen or not -- was recruited by intelligence services, they would monitor them, arrest them and counter them. This is common among intelligence services.”  “But Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has gone further. It has entered the offensive counterintelligence phase. It means, instead of waiting for them to recruit spies, or dispatch spies to our land, we have gone straight to the main source; we have infiltrated in Iran Desk in their services. When they are trying to recruit people as their spies, from the very beginning, our forces would notice.”

Iran's intelligence minister says the country has identified 290 CIA agents across different countries, forcing the US to form a special committee to reassess its operations.

Alavi pointed out that Iran maintains special intelligence relationships with the friendly countries in the region and elsewhere.
“Iran’s Intelligence Ministry has intelligence ambassadors in tens of countries. They do intelligence missions in cooperation with those countries’ intelligence services. It means we consider these services as friendly services and exchange intelligence with them. We give them intelligence and they give us intelligence.” “Well, it is natural that in this offensive counterintelligence, the intelligence we gain may be useful for other counties which are our friends, which cooperate with us in the intelligence arena. We give them intelligence and in many cases they have managed to deliver blows to CIA spies in their countries.”

The minister warned citizens to stay extra vigilant against falling into pits and elusive traps of the enemy’s spy networks. He stated that suspects had been "employed at sensitive and crucial centers and also the private sector related to them. “When the spies are recruited by the enemy’s services, they are not brought in espionage with simple instructions. They are taken to third countries to receive complicated training courses on espionage in vital centers like nuclear, military and police centers.” “Nowadays, espionage is no longer like the old traditional one. It is not merely person-oriented. It is on the one hand based on online platform. Collecting intelligence, recruiting and connecting with spies via online platform… in the form of financial companies, knowledge enterprises, scientific institutions…”

“At first, these people are unaware of the fact that they are dealing with an intelligence service. They think they are a scientific institution or a financial company and therefore keep cooperating until they find themselves in an intelligence trap. “  The minister asserted that the CIA networks and rings have been dismantled a CIA spy rings and driven out of the country.
“The CIA was forced at some points to recall its forces; to call on its spies to exit Iran or other countries. And this made their network out of order; reduce their access to intelligence and in other words, they lost their eyes in collecting intelligence. “

“In addition to the fact that we are in contact with intelligence services outside the country and the fact that through cooperation with different intelligence services we have increased our intelligence power against US intelligence services, we cooperate with the intelligence community inside the country. According to the constitution, Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence is regarded as the mother of the intelligence community; we have constant cooperation with the intelligence community. This has set the groundwork to identity hired spies in different apparatuses inside the country. They have mostly been identified, arrested and handed over to the judiciary power. “  The minister concluded by saying that Iran had used technologically advanced methods to infiltrated the CIA spy networks and had broken up dozens of strong rings of American spies over the past few years

“Our inelegance service is in control. Those who are under control would not notice it.  Without being aware, they are under Iran’s full intelligence control. Those with whom the enemy’s intelligence service get contact, we have them under control. Those with whom the service gets contact and they are fully aware of the contact are also under our control. Even those who are equipped with highly secure online systems should know that these systems would not shield them against our intelligence control. They cannot keep on their acts of betrayal away from the eyes of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry or betray their country for financial or foreign visa incentives and the like."

COAS, CHINESE GENERAL DISCUSS KASHMIR SITUATION
https://tribune.com.pk/story/2042729/1-coas-chinese-general-discuss-kashmir-situation

Chinese general Xu Qilang calls on COAS General Qamar Bajwa at the GHQ on Monday. Vice Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) General Xu Qiliang and army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed on Monday the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). “A Chinese delegation led by the CMC vice-chairman visited the GHQ,” according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement. Gen Xu and the COAS had a one-on-one meeting in which they discussed regional security and ways to bolster bilateral collaboration.

Gen Qamar lauded Beijing’s understanding and support on the Kashmir issue. The CMC vice-chairman reiterated that China valued its “time-tested” relations with Pakistan and its army. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed to enhance defence cooperation and capacity building of Pakistan Army, the military’s media wing said. On his arrival at the GHQ, the Gen Xu laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and was given a guard of honour. Beijing has lent its support to Islamabad’s stance on the Kashmir issue ever since the Indian government revoked the occupied territory’s special status. Earlier this month, a closed-door consultation meeting was held by the United Nations Security Council on the ongoing situation in Kashmir at China’s behest.

PAKISTAN IS THE ONLY MUSLIM COUNTRY AND MILITARY POWER WHICH HAS A NUCLEAR CAPABILITY AND CAPACITY AND NUCLEAR ARSENAL. THIS INCLUDES IT'S OWN LAUNCH CAPABILITY AND NUCLEAR MISSILE TECHNOLOGY. IT WAS AN INEVITABLE  REACTION TO THE 1971 INDO PAKISTAN WAR IN WHICH THE EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTRY SECEDED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF INDIA. BY 1984 IT HAD THE NUCEAR BOMB CAPABILITY. ONLY AS A REACTION TO THE INDIAN NUCLEAR TEST EXPLOSIONS IN 1998 DID IT RESPOND WITH IT'S OWN NUCLEAR TEST  BOMBS AS A DETERRENT POLICY.

ALTHOUGH THERE WERE UNDERGROUND NUCLEAR TESTS IN 1974. IN THE CURRENT TENSE CONTEXT OF THE KASHMIR CRISIS IT NEEDS TO BE NOTED THAT ADVANI THE INDIAN PREMIER WARNED PAKISTAN THAT IT WAS NOW READY TO RESOLVE THE KASHMIR ISSUE BY OCCUPYING PAKISTAN KASHMIR ALSO AND THAT PAKISTAN WOULD HAVE TO SHOW    SUBSERVIENCE TO INDIA. SO IT IS CLEAR THAT NUCLEAR BLACKMAIL WAS USED FOR INDIAN HEGEMONY IN THE REGION.

SO THIS IS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT IN A WORLD IN WHICH NONMUSLIM POWERS HAD A MONOPOLY IN THIS MILITARY TECHNOLOGY.  IT WAS VIEWED AS AN EXCLUSIVELY DEFENCE MEASURE FOR THE DEFENCE OF PAKISTAN AND THE MUSLIM WORLD.  AT A TIME WHEN THE MUSLIM WORLD IS UNDER ATTACK AGAIN BY NONMUSLIM POWERS THERE IS A NEED FOR AN ISLAMIC BLOC DEFENCE MILITARY PACT AND A NUCLEAR DOCTRINE.  THIS NEEDS TO BE DECLARED TO ENEMIES OF PAKISTAN AND THE MUSLIM WORLD.

IT IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE THAT RED LINES ARE DECLARED TO THE WORLD. A WORLD IN WHICH NONMUSLIM MILITARY POWERS ARE ACTING AGGRESSIVELY AGAINST THE MUSLIM WORLD.  WEOPONS ARE ONE THING BUT WHAT WE NEED TO FOCUS UPON IS FOCUSSING ON AN ISLAMIC MILTARY DOCTRINE AND MILITARY LEADERSHIP NOW. AS DEFENCE AND SECURITY IS INTIMATELY LINKED TO SOVEREIGNTY WE NEED TO BE CLEAR WHAT ISLAMIC SOVEREIGNTY MEANS.

SPECIFICALLY THIS MEANS THE RE-SURRECTION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ISLAMIC KHILAFAH SYSTEM WHICH IS THE RAISON D'ETRE OF MUSLIMS. THIS WAS THE REAL UNDERLYING REASON FOR WW1 TO ELIMINATE AND DESTROY THE OTTOMAN KHILAFATE ONCE AND FOR ALL AND DISABLE THE UNIVERSAL CAPACITY AND CAPABILITY OF MUSLIMS BY DISMEMBERMENT INTO A MULTITUDE OF SECULAR NATION STATES TIED INTO A NWO UNDER NONMUSLIM HEGEMONY.

THE CHALLENGE MUSLIMS AND THE MUSLIM WORLD NEED TO RESOLVE IS THE DEFICIT IN THE ISLAMIC POLITICAL VISION. ONLY WHEN THE ISLAMIC POLITICAL VISION OF KHILAFAH IS MARRIED WITH AN ISLAMIC MILITARY DOCTRINE AND VISION OF JIHAD WILL THE WORLD TAKE MUSLIMS AND ISLAM SERIOUSLY RATHER THAN A CAKE TO BE SLICED AND DICED. THIS IS THE TASK FACING THE MAHDI THE COMING MUSLIM LEADER AND HIS ANSAR. WHO IS UP FOR THE CHALLENGE WHICH WILL SEPARATE THE GOOD, BAD AND UGLY?

ERDOGAN SAYS IT's UNACCEPTABLE THAT TURKEY CAN'T
HAVE NUCLEAR WEOPONS
http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/erdogan...ons-146303

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sept. 4 it was unacceptable for nuclear-armed states to forbid Ankara from obtaining its own nuclear weapons, but did not say whether Turkey had plans to obtain them.   "Some countries have missiles with nuclear warheads, not one or two. But (they tell us) we can't have them. This, I cannot accept," he told his ruling AKP members in the eastern city of Sivas.  "There is no developed nation in the world that doesn't have them," Erdo?an said. He also referred to one of his visits to a former leader who sought to make more nuclear missiles, as many as the U.S. and Russia. I'm not going to reveal the name [of the leader]," he said, adding that the leader was then a president.    "That leader said, we have about 7,500 nuclear warheads. Russia and the U.S. have about 12,000-15,000 missiles. We will build more as well. They will compete for building more nuclear warheads," Erdogan said quoting a former president, whose name he did not disclose.  Turkey signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 1980, and has also signed the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, which bans all nuclear detonations for any purpose.   Erdogan hinted that he wanted the same protection for Turkey as Israel.

"We have Israel nearby, as almost neighbours. They scare (other nations) by possessing these. Noone can touch them."  Foreign analysts say Israel possesses a sizable nuclear arsenal. Israel maintains a policy of ambiguity around the nuclear issue, refusing to confirm or deny its capabilities.

‘Turkey more successful in financial management’

"I am allergic to interest, I am against high interest. Interest rate has currently started to fall again, inflation has also fallen, and policy interest rate will fall further," Erdogan also said.  For the growth rate plan of 2020, Erdogan said: "I set a target growth rate for 2020, we will definitely plan the growth rate as 5%."

OUTSIDE NONMUSLIM POWERS HAVE ATTEMPTED TO CRUSH  MUSLIMS AND ISLAMIC SELF DETERMINATION HERE UNSUCCESSFULLY. AS THE USA HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO A STALEMATE IN AFGHANISTAN BY THE HEROIC TALIBAN MUJAHIDEEN THERE IS A NEW DANGER OF  WAR BREAKING OUT ON THE HORIZON.

AS INDIA IS UNDER THE COSH OF AN AGGRESSIVE HINDUTVA REGIME  LED BY THE NAZI MODI WHO HAS ARISEN ON AN ANTIMUSLIM AND ANTIPAKISTAN AKHUND BHARAT AGENDA. KASHMIR IS BEING SILENCED AS THIS ARTICLE IS BEING WRITTEN INDEED THE ANNEXATION HAS BEEN ACCOMPANIED WITH A CURFEW WHICH HAS NOW ENTERED INTO THE SECOND MONTH. THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL FOR MUSLIMS IN KASHMIR, INDIA, PAKISTAN AND AFGHANISTAN. THOSE WHO ARE ARGUING THAT THE TIME OF GHAZWA I HIND HAS ARRIVED NEED TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT IS NO MORE AND NO LESS THAN THE BATTLE FOR NOT ONLY KASHMIR BUT INDIA.  MORE FOCUS WILL BE PAID TO THIS AS IT HAS REGIONAL AND GLOBAL IMPLICATIONS.
